Slinky

Thanks for all the info on the various resturaunts. Glad to hear that Mama Melroses was worth it even if only for the Fantasmic tickets :goodvibes :goodvibes .

The other resturaunts sound fab. :cool1:

What a lovely treat for your daughter's 7th Birthday CRT would have been. princess: My son will celebrate his 7th birthday when we visit and we're taking him to Chef Mickey's for dinner. :earsboy: :earsboy:

hi mumof2, I have heard great reports about chef mickeys I,m sure you will have a great time, make sure you get him a birthday badge for the day from guest services, my 7yr old had so many people coming up to her wishing her happy birthday at MK, my elder daughter was 9 when we were at MGM, she had the badge but not do much notice was taken there. :flower:

Hi Claire,

Did you fly Monarch from Cardiff?

We are due to fly on the 30th June, so wondered what the plane was like - facilities etc.

I'm thinking of upgrading to get a better seat pitch - i think they call it PremAir?

Do you know whether it's worth it and how much they were charging for these upgrades on the day?

Thanks

Steve

yes we did fly monarch, no real facilities to speak of, two films each way, on central screens not easy to see, premium looked good, definately more leg room and with seat back tv,s. don't know the price, booked our flights a year ago and then it was at least £100 per person, maybe £149, decided against it, as money better spent the other end, must admit to being a bit envious as we walked on plane as had to walk through premium to get to my cattle class seat!
have a great time! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2

Hi
Glad to hear good reports about monarch. We are flying in Aug and have booked the premium cabin. What was the food like? bearable?

I have also booked dinner at CRT and lunch at sci fi dinner.

Pleased you had a super time.
:cheer2:

Sorry but another question, ive read so much about the Fantasmic show it sounds like it has to be a must.
How do you book it do you buy tickets or is it you have to have dinner to obtain tickets ?
If so where is the best place to eat to obtain tickets..............there seems so much to do............! :)

:grouphug:

HI Lakers, for fantasmic you don't need tickets, its a nightly show on around 9 pm cancelled only if theres lightning, its in a stadium in mgm and its the best show in wdw, the tickets claire etc are talking about is a dinner package where you book at one of three different restaurants and pay about a dollar more for your dinner and get a ticket for entry into fantasmic into a special reserved seating area, Fantasmic fills fast and you really have to get in a good hour ahead of showtime if you want a reasonable seat - some people go in 2 hours in advance! to get near the front so doing the dinner package allows you to go in a bit later, having said that you'd probably still nedd to get in about half to three quaters of an hour ahead of showtime if its busy to get a good seat in the reserved benches
hope that clears it up! :flower:

mrsjobba1, I thought food on monarch was ok,better than average, i had the vergetarian, we had two meals both ways, each time it was a bagel with cream cheese, orange juice and muffin, think everyone else had ham and cream cheese, main meal was chinese type vegetables on way out, pasta on way back, definately chicken casserole for meat eaters on way out, can't remember on way there.
have a great time :flower: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
