We just returned from a six night stay at Disney. We stayed at Coronado Springs on Saturday night. It was a pleasant place. We had a good room location in cabana's 9B. It was raining when we arrived so we got the kids a snack and enjoyed the lobby. It stopped about twenty minutes later so the kids went swimming. My four year old really enjoyed the pool. We had quick transportation to Downtown Disney to eat that night. On Sunday we checked into the Polynesian. I must say that we loved this place. Everything was perfect. I will say the rooms are not rooms of a five star hotel but the atmosphere of this place is overwhelming. It is so tropical and peaceful. My children loved the pool. We always had a good breeze by the pool as well. Our room was in Ratonga(?)spelling. We had requested a room by the Volcano pool, but did not get it. We were very happy with the location of the room we got. We were facing the quiet pool and had a patio room. It was nice to be so close the main area with two small children. Housekeeping was great. My kids got a stomach virus while we were there and they gladly came in and changed all the sheets. The pool was busy everyday. It did not bother us. They were having problems with the Monorail. I think this was on Weds and Thurs. We enjoyed watching wishes from the beach. I really cannot say anything negative. All the CMs were cheerful and helpful. We did go visit Animal Kingdom Lodge. This hotel looked amazing. I would like to stay there too! I think we are not going to go to Disney but once a year now. We usually go three times a year but after this visit we decided to save our money and have a split stay between Animal Kingdom Lodge and Poly next year. Don't get me wrong I have always enjoyed moderates and values, but after staying at Poly it would be hard to go back any where else.
