We Are Back!!

And we had a great time!!
My son was the perfect age for meeting the characters. My daughter just took it all in!
I learned a few things I would do differently on my next trip (eg..fly down the night before) but overall it was a GREAT trip. 5 days is not long enough.
Now I am off to plan my 2007 trip!!

Pop Century was very nice. Clean, lots of pools, very colorful, food was good. But there are a TON of people crammed in there. And they all seem to be waiting for the same bus as me! The nice thing was we had both grandmothers on electric scooters (one has had a hip replacement, the other her knees) so we always were able to get on the next available bus. But sometimes those buses could be 20 minutes in between! And it was blazing hot! I would never go back in the summer. I'll just pull my kids out of school for a week.
In the future, I will pay the extra to stay on the monorail again. We are actually looking into DVC also. For what I paid for this trip for 8 people, I would have had half of the initial buy in for DVC. Folding and unfolding the stroller for the bus was a pain..esp if she was sleeping. The bus trip to the Magic Kingdom was a little long. You could wait 40 mins for the bus, then another 20 mins over.
But like I said, overall it was great! But next time I am staying more then 5 days. We ran out of time and I didn't get to see everything I wanted!!
