We are a party of 9.....

....that will be needing to rent a vehicle. Which company will rent me a vehicle that will hold 9? And what type of vehicle am I looking for? We are 2 adults and 7 children under age 12.

You need a 12 passenger van... can't find them listed on the rental companies websites...I think you'll have to call around to find out who rents and what the rates are...

I saw the 12 passengers on the Budget website the other day. Pretty expensive to rent.

How many of the 7 kids will need booster/car seats? The middle seats of the 12 passenger vans do not have the shoulder strap -- not sure if that would present a problem for you or not.

I have a 12 passenger van. I have 3 car seats across the front bench (do not need the shoulder strap) and 4 booster seats with the shoulder straps in the other 2 bench seats. The other seats in the van do not have shoulder straps, just lap belts.

We're checking into POR on 6/3/04, leaving 6/8/04. Then we're heading to Marco Island. My friend's girls have never been to the beach, either!! I'm introducing them to two of the greatest things on Earth!!

I would use a towncar service for the Disney transportation. There will be 11 of us on our next trip and the larger vans were ver, very $$. I couldnt find one that was less than $500+ per week.

4GreatBoys, that would be a fine idea, except this isn't just for WDW. We're going south to Marco Island. That would be one big livery bill!! Actually, we aren't going to have a car for the WDW portion of our trip.
