We All Want a Jar of Hunny!~A Nov. 2010 TR! *NEW October PTR 4/4, pg 42!!!*

Just a few Hours Left! :(

Last Day, 11/19, Part 3

Welcome back! I didn't think I'd be so sad starting the update, I really thought I was ok with this TR ending, but I guess I'm not, it's so upsetting! Mostly because I'm thinking of that last night in Epcot, remember how happy and how sad I was at the same time...happy to be there, sad to know it was ending!

At POR, we rested a little, and got everything packed up and ready to go the next morning. We always take the first flight home, so we always have to be out of the resort the next day at the crack of dawn (something that is changing on this October trip...but that's info for the PTR, whenever I start that!) so I had to have everything ready. When I pack and leave from a hotel, I get really OCD about checking everything to see if anything is left behind, and it's really annoying, even to me! So I tried to do all the checking before we left for Epcot!

Finally, we arrived back at Epcot around 5:15! It was such a nice night, there we no crowds, it was a perfect evening to be at Epcot.

Even though I don't really like Stitch, I thought this was so cute!

IMG_2387.jpg

We didn't have any plans for the night, any attractions we HAD to do (although, I'm sure I checked the Soarin wait time, just in case it was short!) so we decided to just spend our night in World Showcase. We had a 7:15 dinner reservation at Le Cellier, so we had to kind of stay close to Canada anyway!

On the way to WS, I took this picture, which I love!

IMG_2389.jpg

I know it's a little blurry, but I just think it's so pretty, the sky, the monorail, the reflection in the water, such a perfect Epcot image!

We walked over to Canada, since Brandon wanted to see the movie the entire trip, and we never had time, we figured why not?

Canada is such a beautiful pavillion! I love walking through there to get to the movie!

IMG_2395.jpg

I can't believe they actually have a mountain back there, with a waterfall!

IMG_2397.jpg

The movie was good, as always! I kind of wish they had seats in there, I don't mind standing at first, but after a while, you're wishing for at least a bench or something! I love how they have to warn you that you're not moving during parts of the movie too, the CM's are always so sarcastic about it! :confused3

Once the movie was over, we made our way over to England, where we stopped in the pub to get drinks

IMG_2399.jpg

(sorry, random people in my shot, but I didn't want anyone noticing I was taking a picture inside, so I was trying to be quick!)

We both got a beer and walked over to France, which is so pretty at night. Although, all of Epcot is pretty at night, so there's really no need to even say that!

IMG_2404.jpg

Eventually, we found ourselves in Morocco, which somehow, we have never explored before! Since we still had time before our ADR, we decided to spend some time looking around Morocco!

IMG_2406.jpg

I was so tempted to buy one of these lights!

IMG_2408.jpg

Everything is so bright and colorful!

IMG_2409.jpg

Ok, well I guess not outside...but the shops inside were bright and colorful!

IMG_2413.jpg

For some reason, I was obsessed with this light fixture, I just kept staring at it...it's a good thing there were not many people around!

IMG_2414.jpg

I was SO excited when I saw this book with Aladdin in it! It's one of my favorite movies and I feel like you never really see him anywhere, it was nice to see him represented finally!

IMG_2415.jpg

Brandon really loved this camel!

IMG_2410.jpg

Finally, we had to start walking back to Canada to check in to Le Cellier. I could not believe how much there was to see in Morocco! Obviously, I've never been to the real Morocco, but the Disney version really makes you feel like you are in another world, I love that! I love that there are always new things to explore in Disney World!

We checked in to Le Cellier, and had a small wait before we were seated, and when we were, we had a terrible table...it was crowded in there, it seemed more crowded than usual, so we got stuck with one of the really tiny tables for 2 people. Most of the time we get lucky and get a bigger table, but not tonight! And we were right in the path for the bathroom, so it wasn't the most out of the way location...but no big deal! We were just here to eat, so as long as they could fit my cheddar cheese soup and some steak on that tiny little table, I was good!

I got the mushroom filet again, and Brandon surprised me and got the NY Strip! The NY strip was the first thing I ever had at Le Cellier, so I knew it was good, but it's definitely not as good as the filet! He was happy with it though! And my filet was amazing, another fantastic meal at Le Cellier! :cool1:

I didn't take any food pics that night, sorry, I really have to get better with that for our next trip! I did take this picture on the way out!

IMG_2418.jpg

I'm not sure what time we finished up at Le Cellier, but it didn't matter, since we still had extra magic hours to look forward to! Still a few more Disney hours left, and a couple more attractions to visit!

Up next...the end! :sad1:

Well, I know you are sad about your TR ending, but at least you picked a great place to eat for your last night! I love the filet. I agree with you - I would pick it any day over the NY strip because it literally melts in your mouth (and I am not a meat lover).

You really got some great pictures on your last day. Your eye for pictures just keeps getting better and better.

Yours is the second TR I read today with lots of Morocco. I promise to visit there in May and take lots of pics!

I know your TR is ending, but I am looking forward to your PTR!

Just FYI- it's Harry Potter weekend on ABC family. I think 1-4 are on sometime today and then starting tomorrow at 7am 1-5 will be on.

Aaw it's a shame your TR is coming to an end. Am the same with checking the hotel for anything left behind. I always feel there is something I have forgotton!

I love the monorail pic!

Morocco looks like fun...those lights do look great! I bet that messed with your eyes...going from all them bright lights to the dark outdoors! :rotfl2:

Yay on eating at Le Cellier again and being able to spend some extra hours on attractions! :)

Mmmm, the Le Cellier filet. You're making me drool a bit just thinking about it.

Glad that you toured Morocco. It's one of my favorite pavilions!

What a nice walk around WS. I am looking forward to really getting to see the countries. Morocco is at the top of my list.

Good choice for your last dinner of the trip.:thumbsup2 Le Cellier's filet is soooo goood!

That picture you took with the monorail and SE in the background is so beautiful! It looks just like a postcard! :cloud9:

Morocco looks like fun! I can't wait to explore more of WS! It seems like you two have such a good time doing so. I'm glad Le Cellier was good! :goodvibes

I don't know what we're going to do now that dinner at Le Cellier is 2 TS credits, and the menu is different at night, I try to have LC be our last meal of the trip, but this year, I'm not sure if it's gonna happen! :confused3

Thanks for the compliment on the pictures! :goodvibes There's only so much I can do with my camera. I wish I knew how to take pictures like you do...when you focus in on one thing and the rest of the background kind of looks a little blurry and far away...I'm not sure if that's possible on a point and shoot camera! Although, I know nothing about photography, so who knows?

Morocco is so pretty, I had no idea! Once you walk in, it's like a whole village in there! :)

Just FYI- it's Harry Potter weekend on ABC family. I think 1-4 are on sometime today and then starting tomorrow at 7am 1-5 will be on.

Thanks! By the time I turned it on, they were already on the second movie, so I couldn't really watch it, not seeing the first one! :confused3 I'd rather not watch them with commercials either!

It's so annoying, checking the hotel a billion times before I leave! Then the whole day, I feel like I did forget something, until I'm home and realize I have everything with me! :rotfl:

Morocco is beautiful, there is so much to look at in there, I had no idea! And it was so quiet and peaceful...although I'm sure it's not like that where there are huge crowds!

I could never get sick of eating at Le Cellier, so annoyed that it's 2 TS credits now!

I know...I wish I could just hop on a plane, have lunch at LC, and come home! :rotfl:

Morocco is one of my favorites now, too, sooo pretty!

What a nice walk around WS. I am looking forward to really getting to see the countries. Morocco is at the top of my list.

Good choice for your last dinner of the trip.:thumbsup2 Le Cellier's filet is soooo goood!

I love just wandering around WS, it's so much fun! :cool1:

Le Cellier is a great way to end a trip! Although, it might be a little different this year...I wish October hours would come out already!!! :scared1:

Thanks, I love that picture too! I just wish it wasn't blurry, but my camera is terrible at taking pictures when something is moving! I'm surprised it came out as good as it did!

Definitely check out Morocco if you get a chance, it's so much fun! We love the WS, we always seem to spend a lot of time there! LC was great, as always! I don't get the people who say it's not that great, it's just like any chain steakhouse...it's so good! :woohoo:

Quick question! Does anyone know if there are certain words you can/can't use for a title of a TR/PTR? I mean, obviously no swears or anything offensive...but since I'm going during Food and Wine, I thought of a good title, but it mentions having a drink...is that allowed? Anyone? :confused3

I don't want to get in trouble, but it is a pretty cool title! I guess if you can say "food and wine" in the title, like I've seen people do, I can say something about having a drink, right? :cool1:

Great update, Jen. Mark loves spending time in Morocco...it's one of his favorites. And we're doing counter service there for the first time this year (or he is doing it anyway). We're missing LeCellier again this year, and I'm drooling thinking of the soup and filet. Oh well, next year we'll for sure go back.

I don't see why you couldn't use a drink in the title. If the mods don't like it, they'll be sure to let you know.

World Showcase at night is so beautiful. I love walking around there after dark, when the weather is perfect and everything is all magical and perfect.

Sorry your TR is almost over. At least you have the October trip to be excited about! I'll be eager to see your questionable title.

Oh no! I'm so sad your TR is ending, but it sounds like you had a great final evening at Epcot! Sorry to hear you got a bad table at Le Cellier, but at least the food was still good! :)

I don't see where it would be a problem with mentioning having a drink your title. I think as long as you don't use curse words you are fine.

Thanks! I never knew Morocco had so much too it, I never bothered going in there, I'm so glad I discovered it!

You're going to have a lot of great restaurants to eat at on your trip, I doubt you'll even miss Le Cellier! Well...maybe the soup! :rotfl:

Thanks, I'm hoping my title is ok, if I end up using it! Maybe I'll just PM a mod, to be safe?

I love the World Showcase, it's probably my favorite place in all of Disney World! :lovestruc

I can't WAIT for October!!! LOL, I'll let you guys know what my questionable title is soon!

We did have a great last night at Epcot, it was such a great trip! Yeah, our table was pretty annoying at LC, but the dinner more than made up for it! :thumbsup2

Thanks! I'm definitely not going to swear or anything in my PTR title, so I hope it's ok!

Go for it!!!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the encouragement!!

Looking forward to hearing what the new title is...am sure it'll be ok!!

I hope it's ok...I'm trying to think of other ones, either Food and Wine related, or something with Halloween, and I can't think of anything else! :confused3 I'll let you know what it is soon! :cool1:

sorry for the bad luck at Le Cellier! We had a table for 4 next to the kitchen door before and hated it! The door would bang every other second with servers going in and out and thankfully this trip we were seated a few tables away from the door! The fillet was awesome :)

It wasn't really a big deal! I just hate feeling crowded at a table when I eat, I hate sitting at tiny little tables for two anywhere, not just Le Cellier! I quickly got over once we got our breadsticks! :rotfl: Mmmmm I can't wait to have that filet again! :cool1:

Can I just say that I have been thinking about you all week because of your "I hate March" comment. It is freezing here and I am definitely hating March right now. It can't end soon enough for me! You were right! :rotfl:

Waaaaahhh!! :( (Part 1)

Hi guys! I decided it's time to finish this TR up tonight! I will still have a couple of updates left before it's completely over, but I'm finishing up the actual trip portion tonight. I will still have a souvenir update (I have a few things I never took pictures of, so I'll have to do that soon!) and my final thoughts and maybe a top 5 list of some kind, we'll see!

I'm hoping to start my PTR for my October trip next week, hopefully before my ADR day on April 3 , because I'm having such a hard time with the itinerary/ADR's that I might need some advice! I still can't think of a good title...:confused3

Last Day, 11/19, Part 4

Wah. Can't believe this is the end of the trip! Although, it's been going since November, so I suppose it's time to move on!

Once Brandon and I finished dinner at Le Cellier, we just wandered aimlessly in the World Showcase. We passed by this again

IMG_2419.jpg

and this

IMG_2421.jpg

and decided to stop in Mexico!

IMG_2425.jpg

I know it seems like every time we go to Mexico we get a margarita, but no margaritas for us that night! Instead, we took advantage of the 0 minute wait time on the Gran Fiesta tour, and ended up getting a boat to ourselves!

We had so much fun on the boat, we didn't have to worry about being too loud, and I may have taken a few pics with the flash on (there was seriously NO one on this ride...I think there was another couple a few boats back, but they were doing the same thing! I'm never that inconsiderate to just talk and take flash pictures on rides! :scared1:) :rolleyes1!

For some reason we were taking ridiculous pictures of ourselves on the boat, and a lot of them are so terrible, which we were purposely trying to do, of course! But I wanted one nice one and this is what I ended up with

IMG_2432.jpg

Could be worse, I guess! :rotfl2:

Once our boat ride was over and we left Mexico, we got outside just as Illuminations started, so we decided to watch! I remembered someone on the DIS (MEK, was it you? :)) saying that Norway was their go to spot for Illuminations, so I decided to try it out, since we always watched from England or Canada, and you know what? It was amazing! It's so much better than the other side of the WS, it's like the fireworks are right up against the fence, it's amazing! I didn't take any pictures, I just watched and listened to the music for once, instead of trying to get the perfect picture!:cool1:

Once Illuminations was over and magic hours officially started, we just kept walking slowly, until we got to the American Adventure. Brandon wanted to see it, so we went inside. It was a pretty long wait until the next show, at least 20-30 minutes, so we just wandered around inside.

They had pretty Christmas decorations up (sorry it's blurry!)

IMG_2443.jpg

IMG_2444.jpg

And I walked around and read all the quotes on the wall, and of course, liked this one the most!

IMG_2445.jpg

Finally, it was time to sit in the theater and watch the show! I like this show very much, but it seemed endless that night! The week was finally catching up with me, and I was SO tired as soon as my butt hit that chair...I had to force myself to keep my eyes open!

Once the show was over and we were back outside, there was an announcement about how there was going to be a fire and explosion on the water in the middle of WS...I remembered reading about this on the DIS, it's get rid of all the extra...I don't know, explosives? :rotfl: they use during Illuminations, so we stopped to watch. It was pretty cool, the fire was pretty far away from us, and we could feel the heat from it! I wish I thought to take a few pictures, but I was so tired!

We kept walking and made our way to Future World, and of course, I had to check the Soarin wait time one last time! I think it was like, 40 minutes. I kind of wanted to wait and go on again, as tired as I was, but Brandon didn't feel like it, so I didn't force it!
