I hate last days.

for beating Brandon at TSM! Not a Rock & Roll Roller Coaster fan, but I am with you and LOVE TOT.

Haha, I love how you had to move your parade spot a few times! I think Howard would be doing that to me! I think it'd be fun to watch from Frontierland because I know it's not necessarily as packed as Main Street, but I'm always afraid of those darn birds in the area!

I can't help but wonder what each individual person was thinking as they were pretending to be toy soldiers! Haha, brings me back to my days of being in the marching band except people could see MY face.

OMG I started annoying myself with how many times I had us move before the parade started! I just wanted to find a good spot with decent light, but it ended up not mattering anyway, since my pictures came out terrible! I like watching the parade in Fronteirland because it's not as crowded, but it's not as magical as watching it come down Main Street. When I see the Halloween parade, I'm definitely going to Main Street for that one! Oh, and I didn't see any birds that night!

I always wonder what the people think of in those costumes too...not just in parades, just any of the characters...I always wonder if they think it's weird that adults want to meet them!

The whole GAD program was just amazing. What better incentive to get people to volunteer than some reward at Disney! Plus, it's business for Disney anyway. Those FP don't "hurt" anyone, so why not do offer it longer?

I'd be MUCH to scared to meet Lotso! I was really creeped out by the movie when he was so mean in the incinerator! I watched it with Howard only a few months ago, and I was verbally upset + disgusted about it! I was like, "WHAT?!?"

Last days are no fun. Although, I think this year, I'm going to cram even more Disney time into my vacation and take the latest flight home on our last day, so we can get in one more park before our flight!

I loved the GAD program, I loved that you actually had to DO something to get something in return, instead of it just being your birthday.

Don't get me wrong, I can't stand Lotso in the TS3, I had such hatred for him when I saw that movie! And when they put him in the parks, I was actually annoyed, I didn't understand who would ever want to meet him! But then I saw how cute he was, and how cuddly he looked, and I wanted to meet him anyway! I think I convinced myself he was the good Lotso, before he turned evil!

You're so cute, you always say you hate the pictures of yourself, but you look good in all of them!

Nice beating Brandon at TSM. Even if you're not a competitive person, you can't beat winning!

Aww, thanks! But the pics we took at DHS that morning are SO bad! Sometimes I just make the weirdest faces and I don't look like myself! And I need to lose weight before my next trip, that is a must! If I don't, I'm just gonna cancel my trip or something, it's getting out of control!

I'm not gonna lie, I was pretty happy with beating Brandon on TSM! Just because I thought he was going to beat me by SO much, when I won, I was thrilled!

Aw... I love the ducks and their outfits. I think you look great in the picture, but I understand how you feel. I always am knit-picking at how I look in a picture.

TSM was so much fun, and beating Brandon made it that much better! I don't know what I'm going to do without those GAD FP's this year though, I'm going to have to participate in that mad dash at rope drop to get FP's like everyone else! Ugh, I'm dreading it!

Love the F&W photos - can't believe how busy it was at times! I see that Le Cellier was your first Disney meal

on getting to see MK rope drop - it's one of the things we are considering but don't see us being able to make the early start!

I love AKL - it looks great Yay on getting to stay there if you stick to it. when I read that you had changed to BC and then changed back again! Though a girl has to take her time with important decisions, right?

Love the Osborne lights - hope I get to see them one day.

Ooh...I would so like to be eating icecream and watching Wishes right now

Love the mini golf photos - it's a shame the winter side wasn't open but sounds like you enjoyed yourselves anyway. on your score, especially as Brandon is very good at playing.

I now get why you haven't seen the Harry Potter movies - the first one was out at the same time as the first LOTRs film! I held no interest in LOTR - sorry. I was persuaded to go and watch the first film, thought it was too long and did not get it at all

I have also found the answer to my own question - you will be starting your PTR in a few weeks!! Can't wait to hear your plans and see how many more times you change resorts!

I am glad I am not the only one who gets headaches on RnR (or any coaster for that matter). It irritates me because I figure its a sign that I shouldn't be riding. At a regular amusement park I wait for it to go away and then I get back on line. And, of course, it comes right back.

DHS is a great park for GAD passes. TSM, RnRC and TOT, it doesn't get much better than that.

I have to disagree about the Disney Channel Rocks show. I don't really like it myself, but it is always amuses Carter, so it's okay in my book.

Sorry to see your trip ending, but I know just how feel about being ready to start planning your next one. 23 days left til ADRs. I hope they release those October hours soon.

I love DHS too! It was my favorite park when I was a kid, and I still really love it so much! I love the architecture there, I love feeling like I'm in old Hollywood!

TSM was great! I don't think Brandon was too happy that I beat him, he kept making excuses!

LOL I stalk characters I want to meet all the time, but I was really bad with Lotso! And I think it was obvious, so I eventually walked away, but I just couldn't decide if I should get in line or not! I wish I did, isn't he going to be replaced soon? I hope I didn't miss my chance!

I can't wait to start my PTR, I should finish this TR up in the next couple of weeks, so it will be soon! I can't think of a good title, though!

You're better off not knowing who Snooki is. Have you heard of the show Jersey Shore? Well she's on that. She's basically famous for nothing. That show is amusing, if you don't take it seriously!

You should try to see the opening show at MK at least once, it's SO worth it!

I'm excited about AKL, it's so beautiful there, but I kind of wish I was staying at an Epcot resort for Food and Wine. But I'm saving money by staying at AKL, which I can spend at the Food and Wine festival, so it all works out!

You know, I didn't even see LOTR when it came out! I think I bought the first 2 movies on DVD when the 3rd one was about to come out, that's how I got interested in that! I just didn't care about Harry Potter for the longest time and now I have to get caught up!

You should try to go to a Halloween party while you are there, I hear they are so much better than the Christmas parties, and I love the Christmas parties!

I can't wait to start my PTR, only a couple of weeks!

The GAD FP was amazing! But now if I want to go on TSM in October, I have to participate in that ridiculous mad dash to the FP machines at rope drop, which I'm not happy about!

Ugh, I always get the worst headaches on RnRC, but I finally figured out to sit up high in the seat and put my head back between the headrest so it doesn't get shaken around and that seems to work! I'm ok on other coasters, but RnRC was always a problem for me until I figured out how to sit!

It was such a great trip! I'm so glad I have another one to look forward to, though!

PS-I had to go back and take out a bunch of smilies, if you're wondering why my responses don't have many, since I know I always use a lot of them! I had 38 in this message and had to cut it down to 25!

LOL, if I had a kid, I'd probably stay and watch all of the shows too! Which is why I take advantage of being childless now and just walk right by when they are going on, I know when I have a kid and bring him/her to Disney, I won't have that freedom anymore!

There is nothing better than riding ToT over and over! That's why I love EMH at DHS so much, usually there is no wait at the end of the night and you can just go on as many times as you want!

I can't wait to start my PTR! I just booked our flights to come home (I had to book flights separately since Southwest decided to have their schedule be released at ridiculous times this year ...ended up booking SW to fly down and Jet Blue to come home...long story!) and now it feels like we are REALLY going, with the flights bought and paid for!

I love TSM, it's such a great ride! I can see why it's so popular, anyone can enjoy it, kids and adults! My arm did get a little sore, though!

The Domination Continues!

Last Day, 11/19 part 2

Welcome back everyone!

When we left off, Brandon and I had just decided to use our last GAD FP's for a rematch on TSM! So we walked in, had a very short wait in the FP line, and played again!

As you can probably tell from the title of this chapter...I ended up beating Brandon again! So here's what he did when I tried to take a picture of the proof:

Luckily, I got him to move his hand out of the way

I was red again, notice how much I beat him by this time? At first I thought it was just luck, but this confirms it...I'm way better than him at TSM! Which is totally fair, since he always kicks my butt on Buzz in MK!

After TSM, it was time to check in to Sci Fi for lunch! I was so excited about finally eating here, I've wanted to ever since I was a kid, and I was finally going to!

We checked in and waited for a few minutes, and then we were seated in our car! We sat in the back, behind another family. I wish I took some pics of us in the car but I didn't even think to!

We both ordered milkshakes, which were awesome! Brandon got a vanilla (boring! ) and for some reason he thought it would be funny if I took a picture of him with the straw stuck to his lip

And I got the oreo milkshake, which was SO good! I didn't even think to take a picture until I already had some of it, sorry!

Our food was pretty good too, Brandon got one of the famous burgers and I got the grilled chicken sandwich, which was ok. If I ever go again, I'd probably get a burger instead!

After we were stuffed from Sci Fi, we had to do Muppets 3D!

I remember the first time I went to MGM, waiting in line for like, 2 hours to see this! It's always been one of my favorites! I think my sister and I are the only people in the world who know where Bean Bunny came from! We both bought stuffed Bean Bunnies on one of our family trips long ago!

I love this fountain! I wish I could build one in my backyard!

Unfortunately, it was starting to get late and I knew we had to head back to POR and finish packing and get ready to go to Epcot later that night. However, there was no way I was leaving without going on ToT one last time!

So we made our way over to ToT

and lucky for us, there was a 5 minute wait!

Look how empty!

When my family went to Disney when ToT was new, my sister and I were obsessed with it, and I remember that queue area being filled with people!

Once it was over, I considered going on again, since there was no wait, but I figured I better not, or I'd never leave!

On our way out, we stopped to get a PP pic in front of ToT, which I've always wanted to do! The photographer was kinda weird though, and not in a good way, so I was kind of thinking "just take the stupid picture already!" and not really focusing on smiling, so I got another picture I don't really like!

Looks like I need to do that one over in October also!

We made our way out of the park and went to wait for the tram to go back to our car. On the way out I took one last picture, scowling at the people who were just going in

I was sad to be leaving DHS. Not only is it one of my favorite places in the world, but it meant that we only had ONE park left before we had to go home the next day. I managed to hold back the tears as we drove back to POR somehow, and focus on packing and getting ready for Epcot later that night! If anything can make me happy, it's knowing I will be in Epcot soon!

Mark always gets the chocolate milkshake at Sci Fi and we share it. You must get the onion rings the next time you go. Mark says the Reuben is really, really good.

I love TOT and can't wait to get on it this year.

I always find it really strange that ToT never really has a long wait. I guess it's because everyone is over at TSM. I remember when it was always packed, too. Believe it or not this ride whimp has ridden ToT!

I can't wait to hear about your evening at Epcot! I hate it's your last night though.

I'm glad you finally tried Sci-Fi I remember always wanting to go there when we were kids. I would look at the sign and it looked like the coolest place ever. I'm not sure why we never went there, it's really not too expensive. I guess it took too much time since we needed the time to stand in line for 2 hours at each ride.

I remember the 2 hr waits for Muppets and TOT. As much as I love the muppet show I don't think I would wait that long now.
Do you remember the whopper ice cream cups we got while waiting in line for TOT? It was malted milk ball flavor ice cream with whopper pieces in it. Mmmmmmm.

Bean Bunny. "I'm not Bean, I'm a fire breathing dragon" I try to get Caitlin to watch The Tale of the Bunny Picnic and she doesn't like it I think I skipped last year, so maybe I'll try it again this Easter. "Oh, Bark!" I wonder if they have a Bean pin in the Muppet store?
