We are going to Disney!!!
This is my first Pre trip report.
First let me tell you about my wonderful family.
I always wanted to be a mother, took many years to get there and I had three beautiful children, all grown now. Alex, Max and Valie, I was a single mother most of the time.
Now I wanted grandchildren. After several miscarriages in our family, my single daughter announces she is pregnant and will be giving her baby up for adoption. Tough words to hear, but I would support my daughter when ever needed.
She choose a Wonderful family. They were local. They wanted an open adoption!!! They had previously adopted a beautiful child, Ava. She was only 16 months old, when we contacted them. My daughter gave birth to a beautiful child in 2006. Her name is Keira.
WOO HOO, now I have 2 granddaughters. I was over the moon and back. We saw them, we had holidays with them. They were the most wonderful gifts. We all became one big family. Who ever thought of Open Adoption, god bless them.
A little over a year later, my daughter, married and had her son Ryder, and six weeks later my son Max had a beautiful baby girl, Emily.
So within 14 months, I had 4 grandchildren.
About 2 years ago, Emily called me on the phone and said Gammy, do you know "All your dreams come true at Disney" that was it, we had to go. I really had not planned on going until they were older. Plus I could not take a chance on not being there when any of the children saw Disney for the first time.
So Jan 2011, the children were 6 yrs, 5 yrs, and two 4 yrs old, we all went to Disney. I will insert pictures and plans as soon as I can figure out how to do it.
