I know I was so bummed that I missed it! I saw some thing that Ellen Degeneres did about it on her show yesterday, but apparently it was a repeat from several months ago! Grrr!

From what I've seen I can tell you this much, though: I WANT SOME BUTTERBEER! It looks so yummy and everyone who has tried it said it is delicious.

I saw the NBC special! It actually showed less of the park and attractions than I would have liked. A lot of it was probably filmed earlier on, before some areas were ready, and they showed a lot of footage from the movie. So I guess we'll have to check youtube for the public to post real videos! I cannot wait to go to WWOHP, but if I do go, I want to do it right, meaning I want to stay at a Universal resort and spend a few days there. It doesn't seem to be happening this year, but most likely next year, mostly because I spend my entire time in FL at Disney!

I hear butterbeer tastes like a really good cream soda, and pumpkin juice is supposed to be really yummy too! Like a blend of fruit juices. Cannot wait to try everything!!:dance3:

I think your plan to go to the WWOHP when you can really do it right is a good idea. I'm just going one day during our Disney trip because I can't stand to wait any longer, but I have a feeling I will end up missing some stuff I want to see and spending all of my Disney money on HP souvenirs! I wish I could get DH to take me just to Universal for a few days but he never has any time off.

OMG I completely forgot about pumpkin juice!! I have to try that! I want to try a pumpkin pasty too. I have no clue what they are but I always read about them in the HP books and they sounded delicious! I hope the WWOHP has them!

Hi everyone! I am so sorry I have been neglecting my poor little PTR for a while. :guilty: I've had some things going on lately but everything is good now. So, I thought I would return with my shocking (:scared1:) but true list of things that I have never done at WDW! Trust me, you're going to be surprised by a few of these. So here we go!

I have divided them into the four parks. Now keep in mind, I have been to WDW six times, so there's really no excuse for some of these. :confused3

Magic Kingdom
The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
The Enchanted Tiki Room (Under New Management)
Jungle Cruise
Country Bear Jamboree
The Hall of Presidents
Snow White's Scary Adventures
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Mickey's PhilharMagic
The Barnstormer at Goofy's Wiseacre Farm
Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor
Tomorrowland Speedway
Tomorrowland Transit Authority

Epcot
Reflections of China
Impressions de France
O Canada!

Disney's Hollywood Studios
Jim Henson's MuppetVision 3D
Walt Disney: One Man's Dream
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Playhouse Disney- Live on Stage!

Disney's Animal Kingdom
TriceraTop Spin

That's all, folks! I am most ashamed of the MK list...I don't know what I've been doing when I go to that park! I guess it's because I ride the same rides over and over again, so I end up missing out on a lot.

So here's my question for you: which of these rides and attractions are must sees? And which ones am I better off missing?

Up Next: Our tentative day by day schedule. And coming soon: ADR TIME! Will I get everything I am hoping for? We will have to wait and see!

The ones I put in red are the ones that you need to do that I love!!!

Hello! Joining in on your PTR! I have to add to PP's list, I think Monster's Inc Laugh Floor is awesome as well! Playhouse Disney was great, but I have a toddler...not sure if adults would enjoy it as much?? I just can't believe you have been 6 times and missed all that in MK! You don't know what you have been missing! lol

Thanks for the input, girl! :goodvibes I definitely want to do Jungle Cruise and the Enchanted Tiki Room this trip. I can't believe I've never done them before!

We almost did Mickey's PhilharMagic once but after we were seated in the theater it broke so we gave up and decided to leave instead of waiting! Maybe next trip we will catch it!

:welcome: Thanks for joining in! I would love to try Monster's Inc Laugh Floor. I'm not sure why we've never done it because it looks like so much fun! I forgot to add one to the list, too- I've never done Turtle Talk with Crush at Epcot! I'm not sure what I have been up to these past 6 times that caused me to miss all that! :confused3 :rotfl:

When we went in 07, Koby was picked as Captain of our boat & got to "drive" it. It was awesome!

Enchanted Tiki Room, if you like Iago from Aladdin, you will LOVE this! Brady would walk around singing "In the Tiki Room" for months!

Mickey's Philharmagic, is Ben's favorite! He could watch that one over & over!

Monsters Inc Laugh Floor wasn't there in 07, but it's on our list to do this time.

Turtle Talk with Crush, you HAVE to do this one!!! Crush even talked to Brady & was asking him questions. I laughed so hard & have great memories from it.

I hear the lines for these rides will be insane!! But nonetheless I am jealous you get to go this year!! :cutie:
Definitely try the pumpkin juice. I totally want to hear how it tastes like!!!

Magic Kingdom
The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
The Enchanted Tiki Room (Under New Management)
Jungle Cruise - must do
Country Bear Jamboree - great when you need to rest and cool off in the heat
The Hall of Presidents
Snow White's Scary Adventures
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh - this is cute. I like this better than Snow White.
Mickey's PhilharMagic
The Barnstormer at Goofy's Wiseacre Farm
Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor - did this for the first time last year and loved it. So cute.
Tomorrowland Speedway - fun to drive around but do this in the morning or evening before it gets too hot!
Tomorrowland Transit Authority

Epcot
Reflections of China
Impressions de France
O Canada!
er, can't say I have done any of these either, LOL:rotfl:

Disney's Hollywood Studios
Jim Henson's MuppetVision 3D - I love this! So cute.
Walt Disney: One Man's Dream
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Playhouse Disney- Live on Stage!
Haven't done any of the other 3, LOL

Disney's Animal Kingdom
TriceraTop Spin
Missed out on this one too, I'm afraid!

My comments are in pink. I too haven't ridden some things either *ducks* :cutie:

We are doing the same thing. I am planning on spending most of my moeny at HP, even though we will only be there for one day! =)

I do want to do a longer trip to Universal at some point, but I wouldn't be able to do a trip to FL without going to Disney, so it would have to be an extra long trip... and then vacation time would be an issue! I hope that I can be happy with one day at IoA and WWOHP.

I love Iago, so I think I definitely need to check this out!

Let me know what you think of Monsters Inc!

As of right now I'm pretty much betting on spending almost my entire day in line for the Forbidden Journey. And honestly, I'm such a HP nerd that I'm okay with that! :rotfl:

I will definitely give you a full report on pumpkin juice and butter beer as soon as I get home!

My comments are in pink. I too haven't ridden some things either *ducks* :cutie:

Thank you for your input! Now I don't feel so bad about the whole Epcot thing at least! Those shows just seem kind of boring to me!

I've already told my mom and sister (who are both big HP fans) that they are not getting a single Disney souvenir this year. All of their stuff (and probably mine) is coming from the WWoHP! Honestly, the shops there are what I'm looking forward to the most! :rotfl:

I'm the same as you...I can't go to Florida without going to Disney. But I want more time at WWoHP! What to do, what to do!

Philharmagic and Laugh Floor are definite must-sees! :) I've never found the country shows in World Showcase to be that interesting, but that just might be me.

Allow me to recommend one of my personal favorites- The Tomorrowland Transit Authority. While perhaps not the most exciting of rides, it has many things going for it. There is almost never a line. The seats are very comfortable. There are great views of the Castle. And if you enjoy it, the CMs will usually let you ride again without getting off. It is a great place to rest and relax.
In regards to the shows in World Showcase, I have never understood why Disney thinks it is a good idea to have theaters where you stand during the show. After walking all over the parks and standing in lines, the last thing I want to do is an attraction where everyone stands. Maybe everyone else has tougher feet than I do and doesn't mind.:confused3 I believe the theater in France has seats, but as for the others, I always avoid them.

I cannot believe you have never done Philharmagic!!!! :scared1: It's one of my FAVORITES in all of Disney, and probably my favorite attraction in MK, with the exception of HM, of course!

Winnie the Pooh is a must do too, and I really like O Canada! And the Muppets...another must do! It wasn't open when we were just there in May, I was soooo upset. :cool1:

Btw, I started my PTR, where are you??? :rolleyes1

I agree with PirateKate about the TTA! Such a relaxing ride. It wasn't open when we went last year, but I was able to do on my first trip. I remember that it seemed that we were away from the "hustle and bustle of the parks"-- even though there was narration.

I am going to put in my ptich for Mickey's Philharmagic! It is a fantastic show, best of the 3Ds imo and it has all the wonderful Disney favorite movies in it!

Monsters Inc is also a hoot!

I definitely agree with the others about the TTA and the Laugh Floor. The Laugh Floor is actually really well done, and my dad loved it.

Thank you for the advice! I definitely want to try TTA. I feel like it is one of those WDW staples that you have to try at least once. And since I will be there during the busiest time of the year, a place to escape the crowds sounds awesome! :thumbsup2

I will definitely have to try Philharmagic! I feel like DH and I had some sort of negative attitude toward it because the first time we tried to ride it the whole thing broke down. But I am past that now and ready to try it out!

I need to check out Winnie the Pooh for sure. I used to be obsessed with Tigger when I was a little kid. :goodvibes

I just finished posting at your PTR. I'm so sorry I was late! I haven't had the internet for a few days.

That sounds amazing, especially during the time of year we are going. Plus I am always looking for a place to rest my feet! :)

I am definitely going to try both of those on my trip. Thanks for the advice!
