I seem to recall placing a bet with 3 other individuals as to 'what baseball team will finish the best at the end of the regular season'

Humm...one person had the Toronto Blue Jays - what are you kidding me? Sorry...no go.

Another had the Houston Astros??? Ummm...who???

And the third team??? Heck -I don't even remember what team it was...just goes to show how good THEY were this season...

no, the winning team for this bet was my NEW YORK YANKEES!!! Didn't you guys know that in 1928, the Yankee's won the world series and 75 years later -they have won more world titles then any other sports franchise??? And you bet AGAINST them??? Bwha ha ha ha ha ha ha....

Wow..the Red Sox lost...I shouldn't be surprised...but I am...

The world seems a little upside down for me today....it really sucks...if you're not a Red Sox fan...be glad....(unless you are a Cubs fan---you know what we're going through)

Oh well...I truly don't care who wins the series now....I just can't watch it...hurts too much.....

Anyway you look at it Higgs, your team had a great year. It sucks to go so far and choke but realistically how many teams in the league did better than the Sox? Two, maybe three. All my teams either choke or are too lousy to make the playoffs to get the oppourtunity to choke.
