NHL webcam, huh springsteenmickey? Sounds like a great idea, tho I'm minus a webcam. I totally agree that most players lose something when they go professional, tho I will always have a soft spot for Manny Fernandez (he's in bobble head form on my entertainment center, right next to my monorail. )

There are many Many Fernandez out there - I do not for a second believe that all players or that even most of them are jerks. It's just that you run into a couple of them somethimes and they just rub you the wrong way - or you watch a game and it looks like they'd rather be doing anything but playing hockey.

So who is your team? I grew up a Habs fan - one of my prized possessions - a signed Guy Lafleur jersey. It brings a tear to my every time I see it.

I'm a MN Wild fan, I have a Goborik jersey, (try finding that in Florida) tho not lucky enough to have it signed. We were surprised they went as far as they did last season. Last I heard, Goborik was holding out for more money. That's a shocker huh?

That doesn't sound like a pro athlete, holding out for more money. It's sad when you put all your faith and adoration behind certain players and they disappoint you like that. I do not have a problem with a player trying to get all that they can get, who wouldn’t – but when they are already locked in for x number of years and then holdout for more money, to renegotiate their contract – that just pisses me off. I am a firm believer that if you sign a contract you should honour it. These players all have top agents/lawyers acting on their best interest, they know their player’s marketability thus should get them signed accordingly. Agents and players both know that salaries escalate rapidly in the NHL, thus they should not sign lengthy deals, why not just sign a 1-2 year deal. Of course then you would have management crying that players will not sign lengthy deals. What we need is Sports Armageddon.

I just checked the CBS site and they're asking for team names when I try to check out the fantasy stuff.

The scoring doesn't start until next week. That allows us to get to know the people first. And I'm sure OT will be coming around with the information soon.

You need to set up your own team first anyway, after that you can join a private tribe after you have been given the information. So feel free to go ahead and register your team.

The man was amazing as you know JW. When the helmet came off and I saw his golden locks flowing I just knew that good things would happen on the ice. It did hurt to see him in a Quebec and then a NYR jersey.

Well the winds are kicking up a bit already. I got all the outdoor stuff inside and now we're just waiting.

Hubby told me he probably won't be home tonight since he is critical personnel, So he told me to sleep downstairs incase the big dead tree in our backyard comes crashing through our master bedroom. Nice huh!!!

I was willing to drive 2 hours to take the boys. They love the wiggles. So I get online, and poof. nothing available an hour later.

Oh, I guess I should say, only available was obstructed.
