Jen, do you have satellite/direct tv??? I have digital cable and have MLB Extra Innings, but I can't get NFL ticket. If I had a freakin computer at home that had sound/speakers (it's a total POC), I'd get the thing on NFL or ESPN where you can listen through the radio. I need my Iggles games!! Is there an Eagles Nest out there where you can get together with birds fans to watch the games, at least, at a sports bar or somethin?

Ahhh I remember last year when the NFL didn't make you pay to listen to radio broadcasts. Stupid money grubbers.

Jen can ya watch some Steeler games for me?

I have cable, too so no NFL Sunday ticket. But we have the PC on the Patriots digital update thingy and the laptop on the Steeler's update thingy. It's just not the same as getting to listen to the game though.

I bought the stat tracker for the fantasy football. Now darling hubby and i spend Sunday afternoons in front of the computer screen. That thing is amazing. Gives you play by play every game. Pretty cool.

I told hubby we should put in a fireplace by the computer desk in the kitchen so we can curl up by the screen and the fireplace and watch computer football SUndays.

You have to pay to listen to football now? My dh rarely sees his team (Vikings) play, come to think of it, me too, since the Jags are always blacked out here. It's going to be a looooong season. NHL ticket is what we need.

Hey! I just heard on the radio that Clay has been nominated for an American Music Award - Ruben was not...rotflmbo...who's the Amercian Idol now - huh Simon?!?

BTW - they also mentioned that Julia DeMato didn't get nominated, as they were afraid for her life. Something about an obsessed fan that she is unable to put a restraining order on???

Adri we have Direct TV ... DH is in his glory on Sunday, until the Iggles are on, watching all those games. Jas of course we will watch the Steelers for you We are even going to Charlotte in November to see the Panthers-Iggles game. Talk about being a long way from home MK ... Florida vs. Minnesota.

As for hockey ... let's go Flyers!

Well I know they broadcast Eagles games on WYSP, can't you tap into radio stations on your computer and listen in that way? I think I'm gonna opt to find a sports bar out here that shows Eagles games, I'll persuade em to if I have to

I'm actually the Florida native, my husband is from MN, and yes, it is a long way away. Which may be the reason I like my inlaws so well.
I'd take hockey over football any day, we're getting a WHA team here soon, not the NHL, but should still be fun to go see.

Adrianna, believe me, I tried that, at least for the Patriots broadcast. A lot of stations don't stream on the web anymore because of costs related to artists and such. In addition, I think the Patriots have some agreement that does not allow webcasts. As for the Steelers, I got too frustrated looking for the Patriot one and just gave up (after mumbling a few curse words under my breath. )

Adri and Jen, I used to have DirecTV over here – darn Canadians stealing from you Americans – all access including PPV and NFL Ticket. What can I say besides NFL game after game after NFL game. My parents still have a DirecTV system with all programs unlocked – great for watching the games. Currently I am with a Canadian Satellite supplier, which I am paying for and I have an NFL package on it. BUT, what is even better, the NHL package. Although the NFL is an OK game, nothing compares to the kickass game of hockey.

Tell you what Adri, if you get a web cam we can set you up so that you tune in to watch the games on Sunday. Just for you I will point my web cam on my TV and you can watch the game that way – Free. Via PM I’ll tell you where I’d like you to aim your web cam.

Magickndm – you rock girl! NHL Ticket all the way. We can set up a web can thing too if you like – I’m fair. Byb the way, WHA games are awesome. There is something about watching a bunch of guys who have to earn their keep - just awesome hockey. It's sad but it seems that when they land in the NHL for good that they leave behind a lot of their heart and passion for the sport. Sad, but I guess you cann say that about all sports.
