Day 7....sigh
Well I awoke feeling pretty good, went over to wake Oneill and touched his head and he was burning up. So I got the thermomether and took his temp. 103.4 Not a good thing. There goes freeport(I honestly didnt even think twice about not going nor was I overly disappointed). I let him sleep, and he slept almost 80% of the day. He wouldnt eat anything at all and didnt even want to play gameboy. You know hes sick now. I have to force him to drink water, I finally get gatoraid from room service...he doesnt want that either. I have to pratically scream at him to get him to take the tylenol and its a major task to get him to not throw them up. But I made him keep taking them as I was concerned. The Dr calls to check in and I tell her about the fever and she sugests cool washcloths and sleep and tylenol and to call if his fever goes over 104.5. After what seemed like 20 days that day and me spending a lot of time worrying over him and praying that he will feel better enough to just get to see castaway and swim in the ocean(something he has talked about for years). It finally is time for me to call it a nite. Oneills fever seemed to finally break a bit at least to the point where I wasnt in panic mode anymore and I turn in.
