Is there any sort of ticket we can get that will apply for a half day? We are thinking of going in the winter, when it gets dark earlier. Not because the child has a sun allergy, but because of critical medication that makes the child unable to be in the sun.

The child sporadically gets intense headaches from sound, occassionally. When that happens the pain can be intense. Other times, the child can go to a major league baseball game. So its unpredictable.

Fortunately the child is extremely responsive to advil, and a single adult dose, with a short nap can bring it back to normal. Will the first aid station allow us to use their space if such a headache did occur?

We know that WDW is noisy, but are there any restaurants that are known for being quieter than others?

We will probably stay off site in a rental home with screened-in pool, and just relaxi in the day, and going out to disney in the late afternoon.

No, there is no partial day ticket available to the general public. There are "After 2:00" and "after 4:00" tickets but they are only available for conventions.

If he needs a place to relax for medical reasons the first aid stations in the parksd will work.

My ASD son was never a fan of staying at the parks during the heat of the day. It wasn't medication. It was just how he was. We would get to WDW at the beginning of the day, stay a while, go back to the hotel, nap, play and swim and then return around 4 and tour some more.(At night, there's always the spectromagic parade to see which my son just loved.) That we felt like we were getting our money's worth out of our tickets. My son also couldn't handle noisy restaurants. Tony's Town Square on Main Street is not too noisy. Restaurants with characters such as the Crystal Palace are a little louder. If you don't mind taking the monorail, the Cafe at the Grand Floridian is pretty peaceful.

Thanks for the suggestion! Will look into that. And you're right, we should probably look at places that are not character meals. No problem there, because we've done the characters before. Thanks!

Plan you visit when a Mickey Halloween Party, Mickey Christmas Party or Pirate and Princess Party is offered. You can get a ticket to MK for around $45, which is good for entry at 4 p.m. through park closing.

OOO good idea!

another thing to think about- if you stay on site youll be eligable for the extra magic hours which gives 3 hours more to play at night-
