It will most likely just be me, DH and our two DD's who will be 11 and 7 by the time we go. We haven't decided where we're staying yet. It will either be at a value or moderate resort.
When you narrow it down, definitely check out the resorts board for resort-specific activities. When we stayed at Port Orleans (moderate), taking the boat to Disney Springs was fun, values have poolside movies in the evening and games in the afternoon. If you do a meal at any of the resorts, leave some time to explore - Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge were gorgeous to explore when we ate at their restaurants and the boat from MK to wilderness lodge is cool (can you tell my family thinks the resort transportation like monorail and boats are an attraction unto themselves?)
