WDW Website

Mines loaded but details aren't all correct. Reservation looks ok but then shows only 2 park tickets when there are 3 of us so I can't book fast passes but its then showing 3 magic bands allocated to us. On certain screens it shows myself and DS twice but not DH at all and then on others it's ok?? I've called US guest services twice (wish I had read this first, I wouldn't have bothered) and each time they have promised to resolve and that they will e-mail me when done. Not holding my breath on getting a reply. Not impressed. Think I will just leave it now till we get there next week. :sad2:

You'll be fine to get this sorted once you arrive if you are included in the test, which it sounds like you are if you've had Magic Bands allocated.
Each of the resorts in the test has a MDE Helpdesk in the lobby so they will be able to add your extra ticket in a flash
As not everyone is using the system whilst its still in testing, its still pretty limited in terms of number of people so you will easily be able to get fast passes

It won't let me link our reservation online to MyMagic! What am I meant to do?! :( Calling is so pricey- our last call to WDW cost about £10!

Meg~ Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

Can you be put through if you dial the UK 0800 number?

Failing that, use one of the low-cost dialing services - shouldn't cost more than 1-2p/minute, even if you call from a mobile.

hi everyone,

well my original enthusiasm was waned considerably

I decided to buy my tickets from Disney and speaking to the uk Disney travel agent 0800 number it was cheap as I am only doing Disney and universal this time anyway one woman turned around to me and said basically while uk can use the website its unlikely they can use the magic band or book fast pass +

yeah I was surprised she was not talking about the test she was saying ever it would only be possible if you bought tickets and holiday from disney she said there was no way to link tickets to a booking for rooms at Disney bought from an external company from Disney. its not something they will support in the future.

well today while I can see my booking I cannot attach my tickets to my Disney + account even though they are bought from Disney! I went to the will call link tickets says nor valid

been trying to ring them and still trying its been 20 mins waiting

her comment was you should buy your holiday from Disney not from some travel agent .. you would have the Disney service then!

:confused3

We bought our tickets from Undercover Tourist and they are linked to my MDE - I think there are still major bugs and issues with the system, which is why it has not been fully rolled out yet.

There are literally thousands of people who don't buy their tickets direct from Disney. The only problem I can see would be if you buy from a UK travel agent and get a voucher, there is no way to link them then. However, if you buy from a company like UT, you get actual tickets which you can then link using the bar code (exactly as you would if you bought direct).

hi Wilma thanks for the response

I bought the ticket from Disney ..using the website and did the will call ... I then went to will call part where on the mydisney website it shows you how to attach a will call ticket ref there so it does not have to be a real ticket the website allows you to link will call ticket vouchers. However when I put in the code as its says the website returns the code under the barcode is invalid.

I phoned them up tonight spoke to them the lady said she was not sure put me on hold and put the phone down.

as you say its pretty broken - I design for a living internet technology things like this transactional technology ... and you don't roll out a system to customers until its right ... yes use a small test bed but don't roll it out to anyone and everyone to use .. that 101 web design
