Sorry if this is old news
Just opened the WDW website (like you do on a Friday afternoon :rolleyes1) and it seems to have switched over to the new US style website with full MDE access and the same dining reservation interface as the US version
Did I miss something or is this a relatively new switch?
When I was looking last week it was the old UK site that opened
You still seem to get diverted to the old UK site if you click to book a room etc but you can at least view the US site accommodation details and photo galleries (which is much better in my opinion than the UK site)

I have had it for months but its very hit or miss and I can't work why :confused3

Wish it would be consistent especially as when we go in December they are likely to have started the MM+ rollout :crazy2:

My experience is that it comes and goes. It'll be the new global site interface for a while then it reverts back to the old UK site.

I've been getting onto the US site using the Tunnel Bear App when I am at home but this was the first time I have seen the global site when just opening the site from my desktop
It was working great for me today but will probably disappear tomorrow ;)

I just went to look have been able to link my booking for May next year using my UK reservation and appear to have magic bands numbers already allocated, very exciting!

I take that back, its KTTK card numbers that are showing as attached to MDE and I have 267 days to go :)

I've just been reading that the new site has rolled out in Canada as well today (they've been having the same problems as us) so hopefully it's here to stay now

I'm sure it will still have issues but at least we are on par with the US now :)

I installed the Tor browser a few days ago as none of the tricks to get to the US site would work anymore.

Today I can get to the US site straight off without going through Tor, and it's so nice to not be forced back to the UK site!

They may be old KTTW cards - I have some on our account!

As of today the affiliations section seems to be working too as my DVC membership is linked and I can buy the DVC discounted Annual Passes. :)

Havent been on to have a look yet but will do. As not going till next sept and booked already had no need but will booking dvc soon . Whoop whoop

How did you do that? I got so excited and went straight to the website to try, but it says your reservation cant be located as entered :scratchin

Just found my KTTW card from May and yes, its the old one. :headache:

Not sure, I went to where it says link your reservation and input my UK WDW reservation number from my email confirmation and my surname and it came up :confused3 I know this year it wouldn't accept the UK number and only showed up on MDE once I got the US number by phoning for it.

I updated my profile on the website by adding a character (It had to be Merida, I'm Scottish after all) and then checked the app on my ipad and it had been updated with character and my reservation.

That's so weird. I'm doing the same, but after putting in my res number and surname, I'm asked to pick my resort from a drop down menu and input my check in date. It's still not working for me...

So, how long has the new website featuring My Disney Exerience been live? Logged on 2 or 3 nights ago and it was the usual website, this morning brand new website. Apart from it having decided my husband is now the infant and my 16 month old son is the adult, it looks really good. On another part of the website though, it has my husband as the adult, I am sure all will be well at check in ON SATURDAY whoop! The main thing is that my dining ressies are there!

Only noticed it yesterday, we went online and checked- in for our AKV stay next week. We have a problem in as much as my DS is mentioned twice, once in the family party and also as a friend. We can’t delete the duplicate, we have to call, as we wont be using the magic bands its not a big issue, but will have to get unto speed for next year. Web site is much better! I could access sites and information that I have not been able to in the past.

I only noticed it yesterday too, everything seems to be working for me and I can click on the USA English version :thumbsup2
I even got my US reservation ref and linked my reservation to the MyDisneyExperience and all that's working too :cool1:

Won't let me log on at all :-( trying to log into my disney experience and saying email and/or password are not valid!! Although they worked up until a couple of days ago on the app!!

Has anyone else had this?!?

Today when I went to the UK Walt Disney World site it was completely changed and has had My Disney Experience added to it. I have been on looking through it and after the hellish time I have had with the mobile app I must say I am very pleasantly surprised!! Everything I have booked was there and there is a Magic Bands section (sadly it wouldn't let me choose our Magic Band colours...yet!) and my Magical Express is all linked up. The restaurants have a much simpler menu view and the whole layout looks so fresh and appealing. For anyone here in the UK who was having problems with the mobile app I suggest you go and check it out, hopefully it will be as nice a surprise for you as it was for me! :goodvibes
