I'm going to apologise firstly, because there has bound to have been some discussion on what I'm going to ask, but I've been searching through pages for about 2 hours and I've used the search function and not found what I'm after.....

Sorry again, blab over lol.... I've been trying to get to the UK WDW site, but I keep getting re-directed to the US site, but have noticed that you can now book from that site as there is a UK number underneath the booking box IYKWIM? I've not been on here as much as usual lately, so did I miss something, have the 2 sites merged now?

What I really want to get to is the itinerary planner that took you through each day and you could pick a park and attractions to go to. The one that you could fill up the 14 days and then print off, I hope someone knows which one I mean. I really hope that hasn't disappeared, I loved using that to plan our trip, I used to be able to save the document and then add ressie numbers to it and other info.
Its getting almost time to book our ADR's and I wanted to get the girls sat down to plan out where we wanted to go etc.

If anyone knows where to access it, I would be really grateful, or indeed how to stop being redirected to the US site :confused3

:thanks:

If the UK phone number is displayed, then you are on the UK site, although it's all but identical to the US site. If you want to specifically view the US site, you need to go to the bottom of the page. On the left hand side, you will see a box that says "Select an International Version". If you just select 'USA: English' from the drop down menu, you will be taken to the US site. You will then see the US phone displayed instead of the UK one!

The same happens with the Disney Store sites now. It will take you automatically to the UK if it detects a UK ISP, and you then have to manually select to go to the US site!

Thanks for the reply! guess we are not so seperate anymore then, does anyone know about the itinerary planner? I really hope its not gone as the US visitors never had it :(

Was that on the UK site? I never even knew about it, although aside from booking I only ever really use the US site so that may be why. I use the TouringPlans one. You don't need a subscription for it - it is one of their freebies. ;)

If you are on UK site it says in top right search box "search Disney UK" & in bottom left it says Select an International Version "United Kingdom: English"
If you then change the version to "USA: English" it will change the top right search box to "search Disneyworld.com" and you are on US site.

I tried looking at Park hours yesterday, it was useless, for Magic Kingdom showing me events for The Studios.:confused3 No idea about the 14 day thing, not seen that before.

I just remembered I was actually using something like that. Not sure if it was the same thing, but you could plan your parks, days etc and save them. However it was only on the US site. I got fed up with it though because not only was it painfully slow, but every time there was a glitch or the website was down, which has been happening frequently over the past year, all the info would get lost and I would have to start over again. You had to go to mydisneyvacation.com though, not the normal part of the site. Is that the one you were talking about?

ah right, I think it confused me because the US site used to be totally different from the UK site so it was obvious which one you are at.
Such a shame no-one saw the planner before, it was really useful, it used to print out like a booklet. I used it for our last trip in August, so I know it wasn't that long ago that it was on. I know I can use the planner on the dib, but the WDW one was so much nicer, had lovely pictures lol.
I know what you mean Wayne about the calendar, I really don't like the new layout. I might be wrong, but I'm sure you used to be able to see events on the calendar view and not have to go into the individual days, it takes ages. I was trying to see when the MVMCP was on and the Candelight processional at xmas, but there wasn't any info. There was info on HS for fantasmic though!

Hmm not sure if its the same one, it was definitely on the UK site and not on the US one, some friends I know in the US didn't know about it and accessed it from the UK site. You could plan your parks and days etc, you could pick activies for am and pm and then nightimes, you would click on attractions etc that circled a picture of the park you had selected and yes you could save it as you went along
