WDW website particularly glitchy this morning!

We've lost all of our FP's

What?! Oh, no!

I can't get anything to come in in MDE.

Most likely not lost. Everyone needs to wait until the system is fully restored before it can be assessed whether any reservations were lost. While some can currently see reservations, many (myself included) can't get anything to load.
 
So fun to worry all day about this. Not! Sure I can just figure it is because they are doing updates and it will all be back when they get done. Just wish I didn't know that that is NOT ALWAYS the way it works.
 
Still nothing loading. At least I screen capped my reservations last night. On the phone it says i have none but online it just says having trouble accessing. This is making my anxiety all kinds of wonky. I added new tickets last night and have been trying to set priority and am just having all kinds of what ifs about this situation.
 
My resort reservation and ADRs are showing up again but still no FP. I called this morning and was told that the system would be glitchy throughout the day and not to worry. He said that it would all show back up, and even if it didn't they could see that the Fp were once there and be able to get them back.
 

As I was unsuccessfully trying to book dining (after requiring multiple attempts to book a room last night), an extensive online survey popped up about my WDW website experience. Ha! Bad timing, survey!

You didn't lose them. The website says: "We're sorry. We encountered a problem retrieving one or more FastPass+ reservations. Please try again later or call (407) 939-4357 for assistance." When they are finished "upgrading" the site, your FP will appear.
 
Guess you have never seen the threads where people lose their stuff permanently when they are doing these upgrades. Wish I could have not seen them, I would feel much less anxious. LOL

Sure glad that Disboards exist and you guys posted. I was freaking out when everything was gone but I see I'm not alone. :thumbsup2
 
Although most of the normal means to get at info aren't working for me, I was able to see all my ADRs and FP+ by doing the following:

ADR: Go to dining and search by restaurant name. When you click on search results, if you already have reservations, they should show up in gray with time, date, etc.

FP+: I went to the FastPass section and went through the motions of "Change a FP+." When I clicked on each day, all my reservations were still in there and visible.

I'll feel much better when the site is no longer wonky, but at least I know the stuff is still in there. Hope this helps some folks!

Sames here everything is there it just isn't showing where it is suppose to.

I get that message for our resort reservation, fast passes, tickets & dining. I called in and they verified all of my reservations are still there. They said it's just the MDE app- she can see everything on her end. I didn't have my reservation #, so she just asked my name, dates I'm staying & what resort I am staying at and she was able to tell me all of my reservations. She said when the system comes back we'll be able to see everything again. So if you're super anxious/nervous like me, just call in & a CM will verify everything for you. Hold time was only about 3 minutes.
 
I am having the same issues today with the website and the app... sort of frustrating because I had some free time today to go in and make some last minute changes (hopefully) for our trip in 11 days. I really wish they would fix all these glitches because it really adds stress when there is no need for it. This is like the 3rd time it's happened to me in the last month or so.

Ha! Happened to me last year when I added the dining plan after making my FP+. Learned my lesson to never do that again.

But that wasn't a system glitch. While you may not have understood all connections between Room only, packages, etc., the system did what it was designed to do.
 
Here it is after 7pm pacific time, and MDE is still on the fritz. Did Disney outsource their IT operations to the lowest bidder?
 
I called a little while ago and the cast member told me they were doing a system enhancement.

This is pathetic............every install is a nightmare.............Disney IT is an embarrassment! Imagine if it's your FP+ night o_O

Everything is showing up for me now. I get to select FP's in a bit. I'm curious though... if I set my FP selections, then add the dining plan it will get rid of my FP's? Not sure if I correctly understood what I read above. We're still undecided about the dining plan.

Guess I'll do my FP selection & if I decide to go ahead with the dining I'll call & let someone do it for me... just in case.

Outsourcing as a concept is to save money (which it most time does, but at the expense of quality IMHO)............and yes lowest bidder wins! The point for the outsourcing company is "We can do it cheaper, faster, better"! I've rarely found that it works, at least in my experience............

Ha! It's my FP night! :goodvibes Just gonna do what I can. The site is working for me right now. No use in stressing over what I can't control.


And, as soon as I posted it got glitchy again. It'll all be good! :smokin:
