Outsourcing as a concept is to save money (which it most time does, but at the expense of quality IMHO)............and yes lowest bidder wins! The point for the outsourcing company is "We can do it cheaper, faster, better"! I've rarely found that it works, at least in my experience............

I was told they were "magical enhancement"I called a little while ago and the cast member told me they were doing a system enhancement.
If it is Disney....it is "magical" lol!I was told they were "magical enhancement"![]()
I found that it does work most of the time but what it does does not necessarily serve me better personally. The point for the outsourcing company is "We can do it cheaper, faster, better"! I've rarely found that it works, at least in my experience............
I'm wondering if this is a glitch or not: I cannot make dinner reservations for Hollywood & Vine.

I guess everyone who's been impacted has a story about "outsourcing". Again maybe I haven't been so lucky............in my 30 years in IT..........I've never seen an outsource work as it was initially intended. To cut costs.........they cuts staff and "cut" corners IMHO. With overseas outsourcing I've never seen it be easy..............can't tell ya what 1am in the morning meetings are like..........NOT FUN!
In the case of Disney, I don't know myself if they outsource they're IT work..............but if they do..........they should FIRE that group! Way to many problems on EVERY install. With the size and financial availability they should be better than this.

Now I feel like I am off topic, but it is related to the original topic. I got an email from My Disney Experience today saying,
"Hello, Donna! Welcome to Disneyworld.com!
Creating a personalized dream Disney vacation has never been easier—sign in from a computer or mobile device using the email you provided."
Very peculiar being I have had my account since My Disney Experience came about, and it seems to be a welcome letter of sorts.
