I just love how the 10:50 a.m. sun sparkles over the World Showcase Lagoon. I was waiting for the rope to drop on the Mexico side.

Here's a photo tip. Take a few shots in manual mode and close your aperture while extemding your shutter speed. You'll get the fireworks to trail off

Thanks for the tip - that was my first real test of whether or not I could do some magic with the camera - I turned the flash off and was on manual and hoped for the best. I know the music and the show so well that it helped in timing the shots, otherwise I would have a lot of black shots of nothingness.
