I'm sorry, but I missed the part where we said we were debating parenthood?!?

I also missed the part where those of us who don't have kids say that we *get it* with respect to taking care of them?!?

I just think that a few of us were commenting why were are in no rush to have 'em...I think that we all can agree that we *take off our hats* to those that are parents, 'cause we all know that it's not as easy as SOME may think (hence the reason that some of us have held off in having them up until now...)

I can barely handle parenting my cat (she's having "issues"... teenagers ) at this point... so I have no business getting pregnant... besides the fact that it would be physically impossible, as I don't think I'm worthy of Immaculate Conception.
BTW - is it wrong for me to refuse to let my cat date older boys? You know they're only after one thing.
(just trying to lighten the mood around here... I'm the party girl, remember?)

I'm reading this book on Walt Disney and I came across this little piece of trivia. I thought that it was worth sharing:

Hey did anyone watch the Miss Universe pageant last night? Anyway, I thought it was pretty good. Miss Canada was a little miss smarty with a doctorate in pharmacy. She made it to the top 10 along with Miss USA who I was not crazy about. One girl almost tripped over her dress and yet she made it to the top 5, I guess poise isn't everything. Donald Trump was there as he co-owns this thing. His hair piece is looking BAD these days. With all his money you think he could do something about that.

I was happy that the girl I was rooting for, Miss Dominican Republic (Amelia Vega), won.

You mean Miss USA didn't win. Ha Ha. I saw her earlier last night in an interview and they said she was the front runner. She replied "Yes I know" "I'm going to win this thing" She really came off arrogant. I'm glad she didn't win.

It's a tradition I have with my mom, one that has been neglected for a while but we decided to have a girl's night.
