No Jas...no child debate here...I think children are fine...as long as they are somebody else's...I give parents lots of credit...i don't think I could do it...I have enough trouble taking care of myslef, much less a child...so my hat's off to you parents out there....

As for avoiding children at Disney movies...that's what 9 p.m. shows are for

BTW...Madonna...I disagree...I liked the Bear ride....and anyway...that's why Mickey invented FastPass...to avoid lines...

Quick definition Higgs is that OHIP stands for Ontario Health Insurance Plan - which is free heath coverage...I understand that in the US you have to pay for it...

It stands for Ontario Health Insurance Plan. Residents of Ontario simply show their health card at the hospital and all bills are covered. It comes through our provincial taxes and part federal thus we do not require private medical insurance.

That seems like a better system than what we have....I hate paying for insurance (Thank God we still have it through my DW's job...otherwise I would have been screwed when I got laid off...)

Jas, post the link to the kid (aka procreation or breeding unit) thread. I think it would be good for the ppl to see what it's like on the fringes of rational thought.

So are we debating parenthood? The way I see it, no childless person can ever look at a parent, no matter how close they are to that person, no matter how much they think they know about the experience.... and fully understand what it's like or why or how we do what we do. It's impossible for someone who does not have kids to "get it". No matter, I suspect most or all of you WILL have your own kids someday and you'll see what I'm talking about, despite how you feel now. And if the action in the spa keeps going the way it is, we might have a bit of a baby boom around here.

Now did someone say Julia? Thank God her parents had kids.
