I’m sorry…I think Clay’s act is getting old…while it won’t happen until the final show or two…I think it is his time to go…his voice does nothing for me…and I think there are much better performers on that show (Ruben and it pains me to say it…Josh)
And I agree that the women should be voted off one by one…but I don’t see it happening…Call me crazy…but since they don’t make the vote totals public (at least nowhere I’ve seen) things can be manipulated to keep the sexes even (I hope I’m wrong there)…just watch…the final will come down to a guy and a girl (Once again…I hope I’m wrong there….)
Not saying it’s fixed…the final is probably legit…but I think some things could be fiddled with….

What about 205's and the Country Twang. If we want to see different acts then one must put Kim C amd Carnen in the top 3 for changing their style every week, yet they are the ones being voted off.

Why is Clay always picked on for having the same style?!?

Can someone tell me the last time that Trenyce didn't do a *Diva* song, 'cause I totally missed that episode...)

and can someone tell me why oh why didn't the judges pick apart Kim locke's - not 1, not 2 - but 3 times singing *Somewhere Over the Rainbow*?!?! (the girl is SO obsessed with Dorothy that she had to sing *Home* by Diane Ross for the movie show - which is The Wiz's version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow)

Personally - I think Clay is being picked on - because he is GOOD...Ruben and Clay are who this will come down to...the judges are not even bothering to *waste their time* on the others...

A Canadian Idol? What are you kidding me? Clay is to good to be a Canadian Idol...

Ok,

I'm jumping in. I too am so tired of hearing "he sounds the same every week". "He's theatrical" "Broadway"

But, ahem,
Ruben has been R&B since the beginning. Even his Sweet home alabama, was more R&B than country, IMO, of course. Every week he sounds like Luther or Barry White. I don't hear these comments about him. I'm not bashing Ruben. I like him. He has a sweet, mellow voice that's very pleasing to listen to. But he does sound the same every week. He has his style. Would I buy his CD. Probably not.

Clay's voice is more powerful, IMO of course. Is he suited to perform on Broadway, absolutely. You need to be powerful on Broadway. He also has a broader (no pun intended) range, register, whatever you want to call it. I listen to him sing, and I get choked up. Same as when I saw Phantom or Les Miserable on broadway. You don't intend to but it happens. You can't control it. That's a performer. That's his style.

They both have their own identities and styles. I don't see how one is "better" than the other. They are different. Which one would sell more records? Personally, I think Clay. He is more diverse.

I would love to hear him do that BillyJoel song (forgive me I can never remember the name) I think it's called "Italian Restaurant". (bottle of red - bottle of white). I think that would be great for him.

Sadly, the women do need to go. I feel badly for Carmen. Didn't think she was sooo bad, but last night killed her. And Treyneice (however she spells that) was saved by Carmen. Kim C. was also saved by Carmen, because if Carmen wasn't getting the boot, it would be Treyneice(sp?) and Kim C. in the bottom 3, and I think TR****(whatever) has a bigger fan base.

That said -

4 simple rules for the American Idol game:

1) Official votes for your *eliminated-idol* made be made ANY time during the week - but a quick re-cap will be polled Wednesday during the day - so that there are no arguements later as to who voted for who...

2) PAY ATTENTION to their names!! There will be no "I think that blonde girl with the blue pants and white shirt that sucked really bad is going to be kicked out..." If you don't know their first name (and last initial in the event of a *Kimberly*) - your vote doesn't count!!!

3) In the event that you are on mission from our fearless leader in WDW gathering water while the show is going on - please forward your votes for that time period to a fellow WDWWDS member to put yours in for you...

4) Points: You will recieve 1 point if your AI member is in the bottom 3 and you will recieve 3 points if your AI is booted off.

Points now are as follows:

Ok so lets see if I have this right. Sounds kind of confusing. I have until Wednesday of each week to disclose my "eliminated" idol. Then based on whether they are or aren't I receive points.
