WDW vet, DL newbie

Soooo, three days ago DH suggested that we go to Disneyland. Then he says he wants to go next month. I know enough about WDW to plan a trip in a day, but I know nothing about DL. So I have a few questions...

If we stay at PP or DLH will there be a microwave that we can use? I know there won't be one in the room, but what about at a counter service location in the hotel?

Do the hotels have refillable mugs?

Has anyone used the DL Resort Express? Do you recommend it?

Congrats on your first trip to DL. We just returned from our first trip last month, and you will love it. To help answer some questions. We stayed at DLH, and there was not a microwave available that I noticed, however you may be able to ask the people at the coffee shop to warm something up for you. There were souvenier mugs available all over the place. We used the Super Shuttle and it worked out well for us. I was glad I didnt use the DL Express, because they appeared to be packed busses, and my guess is that they stop at many local hotels in addition to the DL resorts. We had a shared van with 5 other people, and we ended up being the first stop which was great.

If you stay at DLH, try to request a room in the Magic tower with an odd number. We had 2901, (on the 11th floor oddly enough) and were able to see almost the entire DL park...
