WDW Vacation Planning Kit

I figured I didn't need another planning video, I have at least a couple DW videos, one DCL and one DVC. But after hearing you all, I broke down and ordered one tonight from the official disney web site. We're going to DW in Feb and haven't told the kids. I can wrap up the DVD and give it to them for Christmas (with some Disney Dollars).

The kids will freak out with excitement !! I'm 25, and if my dad did that for me, I'D freak out!!! Sounds like the beginning of a beautiful Christmas. . .

Just watched the DVD and it left me wondering...when you go to room layouts, it shows different layouts for standard Poly and concierge Poly. Only the concierge layout includes a daybed. If this is accurate I need to think about changing my reservation. Anyone have any input?

Does anyone know if the video is identical to the DVD ? We have not graduated up to DVD's at our home but could always watch at a friends house if it is that much better !! What do you think??

You guys got me all excited for the new DVD, so I called to order it. A very kind CM said the only new planning video they have out right now is "Magical Gatherings." Is this the same one you all are getting?? Thanks for your help!

Yes, it is the Magical Gatherings version. I'm not sure if the video is the same as the dvd, but I see no reason why it wouldn't be. The only thing that I can think of that would be different is.... there is one section called the Maps section, where an image of Mickey appears. When you click on it with the dvd remote, he speaks. It is supposed to demonstrate Pal Mickey.
