WDW Vacation Planning DVD, Who's got it?

It was nice. I like the one from last year better. However, I think the section on the resorts is better on this one.

The scenes in the clouds were a waste.

I got it today. I haven't watched the entire thing, but I have watched the main video, and it was pretty cool. :smooth:

I got mine today. I like it better than the one for the 50th celebration. I watched the first three or so minutes and I was already teary-eyed. :)

I just watched it and it was really good! I really can't wait now(4 days left to go) I only wish that they would show more of the places to eat like Ohona and Chef Mickey and maybe show the two mini golf places. Just a thought

:confused3

Okay well I just watched the planning video..It was good but I like the Happiest Celebration on Earth better. It was kind of boring but it got better when I saw the kid's thingsince I am a kid,lol...I also liked watching whats new and what is coming to the theme parks..I hope you get yours soon!

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Mine finally arrived yesterday all the way out here in West Texas. I didn't get a chance to watch all of it. I like it better than last years, but the clips of the park did go by really quickly.

Hope everyone is enjoying theirs and to all those who haven't received it, I hope you receive it soon!

Just got it! Will try to wait until tomorrow to watch it when all of my kids are home. We'll see how long I make it.

You've given me hope that a DVD finally arrived in Tennessee! I'll be waiting for my mailman every day! We'll be at WDW the same week as you! :Pinkbounc

It has made it to Alabama. We got ours today. I enjoyed it very much. It can't compare with last years.

Mine was waiting for me when returned home from our trip. I haven't had the heart to look at it yet because I know we won't be going again anytime soon!

SUCCESS!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Finally got mine today! Just got done watching it, and I really enjoyed it. One minor quibble: If 93.75% of the video content is going to be letterboxed, why then is it not also anamorphic (e.g., enhanced for high def TVs)? :confused3

But, I'm so very, very glad we finally got it! :goodvibes

Got mine today --- the day AFTER I just got back from WDW. :sad2:

finally got mine today. Man, I ordered it waayyyy long ago. Whenever it was first posted on here that we could order them..what Aug/Sept?

I'm in Michigan and I got mine today. I LOVE  LOVE  LOVED  it. I cried through the first 15 minutes. Oh, how I wish we could go back soon. It's such a magical place :wizard: princess:

I finally got a chance to watch mine!

It is super cute! I love that they have a lot more resort info than they used to!

Does anyone feel like it was less "informative", though? I know that most of us order them just to see clips of the World, but it seemed like they only mentioned about three attractions per park- I don't think I would have learned much if I were going for the first time.

I agree. I think the previous version was much more informative. There is a section on the menu that is planning but I liked how information about fastpass and EMH was integrated into the main clip last year.

Now that you mention it, yeah. You're right. The happiest celebration crew highlighted attractions that would appeal to each potential guest from thrill seekers to little kids. This one really doesn't do that.

I wish they'd give more details on the dining as well. Disney restaurants are attractions themselves, they deserve more attention. A first timer who doesn't know about great resources like The Dis or AllEarsNet would be completely lost. And hungry.
