WDW Vacation Planning DVD, Who's got it?

Mine arrived today!!! I need to take some time now and go through it. Maybe I'll get my daughter and her boyfriend to watch it with me since we all head off to WDW in 11 days!

I watched a lot of it with my DD23, and have to say I liked the last planning video more. I haven't viewed the material on Disneyland yet.

That doesn't bode well for me! No emails yet.
Also, my custom maps haven't arrived yet - tomorrow will be three weeks (they estimate 2-3 weeks). I haven't received any notification about those arriving either (not sure if people are or not). Phooey!

Same here, no emails and no DVD yet. But then, I never got the giclee either Boy do I feel out of the loop.

If you have to order it, where do you order it from?

The DVD sucks!!! There is not enough info. A lot of fluff and senimental BULLcrap. I dont like it.

Afraid I have to agree. My whole family, veterans of the last two, which we watched over and over, found it incredibly dull. We're never planning on watching it again.

LOL i cried too!, at the beginning... It's adorable!, i like all the sentamental bull I just got it today, actually. I was feeling very sad all day, and after i watched it i was happy


i also printed out the mickey ears from the website and hang them on my door...

Agreed. I liked the four actors better. Not saying this one isn't good, because it most certainly is, I just wish Luke could have actually ridden Expedition Everest.

Just finished watching it. It wasn't as useful or informational as I had hoped. Still, it's a free DVD so I'm not complaining. The little 20 page booklet it comes with will be handy to bring along.

Got mine today and am very disappointed ... It's even worse than last year's. Too much talking and clouds and dreaming; a real waste of time. We much prefer the ones they made a few years ago, that went straight to the action, with seemingly "authentic" vacationers telling about their trip. Like the lady who said "When you go to Disney, you should stay at Disney", which led into the Resorts section. Doubt I'll ever order another one.

We got ours today also through the regular mail. We have only watched the main show part. I was glad to see some Star Tours footage. I think that helped DS 6 work up the courage to go on it next May 2007. I am not sure if I like all of the fluffy clouds. And I am not sure if it is as easy to maneuver through the menu. We liked watching the old one on our computer and being able to just click on MK, AK, EP, or MGM to see footage of that particular park. I think I need a little more time to view the DVD before I make my final judgement though!

I agree with everyone about it being too much clouds and dreams and stuff. But I have to say, I still like it better than the one last year. Once you fast foward through the people talking about their dreams, the main part is quite nice.

I requested mine on the 1st day they were available and still haven't gotten it . Maybe tomorrow.
