WDW "Vacation A Day" Contest!

Just want to finally say thank you to WEDWDW for starting this thread. I would never remember to enter every day if I didn't see it here.

I am excited for a winner too. What I will tell you is that last year when we won we didn't tell anyone until we got our official letter. Didn't want to jinx it. With that said I wish I was keeping it a secret now but so far no call! Also we NEVER got notification from fedex we got a call and an email!

Do you remember what time of day you got the call? I am also obsessively checking my phone to make sure I have service, haven't missed a call or have a message. It might help me be more productive at work if I knew they would only call at ____ time.

I won the Cars land sweepstakes a couple of years ago. A trip to Disneyland. It was awesome. I received an email with the subject: Disney Cars Land Promotion Notification

I had to read it a couple of times. Best email ever!

BTW: the "official rules" did not tell me ALL I won. I won a $400 Disney GC, I found out once I received a letter from Disney. I also won a 6 hour VIP tour; found out when we got to Disneyland. Great surprise!

I have a question for folks who already have a trip planned........would you apply the winning trip towards or in place of your planned trip or would you take two trips?

We don't have a trip planned but if we did, I would probably just extend it with the win and cancel the flights if possible.

I would plan 2 trips. We have a trip booked for end of Sept this year but that is an adult only trip for our anniversary. My DD16 is no to happy about that so if we won we would use the win for a trip with her. So hoping to win.

I would plan an additional trip! We wanted to go twice this year but can really only afford to go once. We were considering even just doing a weekend between now and August, when we're going, just to hold us over, but couldn't do it.

Of course just dream but I am torn about what to do if I win.

Have a trip already planned with BFF in May and DD(17) in Oct. Would love for husband to win as then the kids could brinig friends along in Oct. and stay part of trip with DD and I as we will be going for over a week. If I win then maybe go in Jan with husband and DS(12) and let him bring a freind. DD will be a senior and 2 trips is not an option and I need to plan around my available vacation time. Oh the problems if I win. lol

I would plan a Halloween trip! DD17 wants so badly to go at Halloween so we can dress up in the parks with a big crowd, but we can't justify paying for a short trip and with her AP-heavy class schedule she can never take days off during the school year. Winning a trip would be a magical solution

I have been watching this thread everyday and entering. Yesterday I was on the phone and someone rang the front doorbell. I looked at the door and there was a FedEx person standing there. I truly swooned. I opened the door all smiles and he had a box from Ebay. Bummer!

I heard someone at the door...looked out the window and there is a FedEx truck out front! I check the porch....and its an exercise bike my husband ordered. Wwaaaaahhhhh!!:/ I felt like running out just to make sure he didn't have anything else for us in his truck he might have forgotten! Lol I want someone to say they won already!!!

I got a call from an unknown area code last night and I said to myself, this could be it!
But it turned out to be my Credit Card fraud unit calling to verify some odd charges. Turns out my credit card number was stolen and some jerk in Seattle was running around going crazy with a illegal reprint.
Boy what a let down...
