Anyone ever heard of the CM that got killed at MK's carousel of Progress?

I'm sure everyone has heard something about people getting hurt on ride, Disney's underground jail, and the fact that Disney supposedly hides all there incidents at their parks secrets.

I just thought this would be a good topic to start as I have always been curious about what really happens in the parks that Disney doesn't want us to know...

just go to snopes.com, the Urban Legends website . . . and read the Disney stuff.

Right, Snopes has a page on urban legends about Disney, but WARNING! some of them are not quite appropriate for kids (though they did appear in Disney films.) Regarding deaths, just be reverent. I've worked a number of special events where safety has been a big concern, so perhaps I'm a little sensitive to it. I will say that a simple Google search can yield more info, but I will not be posting a link to a certain site again. But there are plenty of interesting tales ranging from Walt being frozen in Pirates or the hub, to the hearse at the Haunted Mansion having carried Brigham Young's body. Most are untrue, but they are certainly interesting. Anybody know of some that are not listed on Snopes? :listen:

Close to it, a CM at Disneyland got killed on America Sings.

I don't know of a WDW equivilent, but for lots of DL stories, get a copy of Mouse Tales and/or More Mouse Tales by David Koening (sp). The shop at mouseplanet has signed copies.

Cheers.
