Wednesday 20th August

Woke up to still raining & grey weather, i cant believe i was so worried about the heat in August - there were times i was actually cold!!!

Had breakfast in the Orchid lounge - lovely setting big glass windows overlooking the pool, lots of comfy chairs/sofas, they serve a continental selection & it was very good.

We doned our ponchos & headed to IOA DH & I did Hulk, DD wont do any rollercoaster rides, which is frustrating as we know if she'd just pluck up the courage she'd love them! But after 17 days we'd given up! Nice to have a child old enough to wait for us big kids though!

We then all rode Spiderman & poisidons Fury, i had booked lunch at Mythos (made reservations at our hotel).
The 1st thing i do is order my all time fav drink.....''Potion Of The Gods'' it is to die for & lives up to its name! i even took a pic of the ingredients (& did a pretty good attempt at re-creating it at a friends cocktail party recently!)

DH has a very ''posh'' coffee - thats sugar on the stick!!

I had shrimp & steak with spinach risotto
DH - Chk & mushroom pasta
DD - BBQ fried chk wrap

I love this restaurant & its becoming a tradition to eat (& drink) here every trip, & i noted that as we were staying onsite & booked at the hotel we got lovely seats overlooking the lagoon

We then rode Jurassic park & dueling dragons (DH & I!)
We headed over to the cinema & decided to book tickets for the 8.10pm showing of Mummy 3 (as the weather was still forcast to be lousy)
We went back to the hotel to dry off then back out to the movies -the heavens had opened when we came out!!
We ate back at the hotel at the ''Islands dining room'' Dh & I shared aHawain pizza & fries, DD had the chk noodle soup, both very good & again staff are lovely
Headed to bed at 11.30pm
The storm is now only moving at 2 miles per hour
We really wanted to take advantage of being close to citywalk but due to Fay this didnt really happen...BUT ... i have an excuse to return

Next time - visiting HRH

Lovely report again, we may try the Islands restaurant in July. We love Mythos, delicious food with normal portions.

Notice you're going similar dates this year too, same as us, question is will we see another Tropical Storm Fay ............ I bl**dy hope not !!!!!!!!!!

We always ask to sit at the table outside overlooking the lagoon at Mythos. We are usually wet from the rides and the air conditioning inside is too cool. Have not noticed that cocktail though, so definately worth a trip back.

Thanks for sharing the report (though wish I was sharing the cocktail!)
