Hi guys! I just finished my trip report if you want to check it out! Just click on the Cassworld link below and then click on Trip Reports!

Hope you like it!

Hi Cass -

GREAT trip report!!! I loved all the pictures you added in and laughed at the funny captions. Looks like you has a terrifice time and I actually felt like I was touring the parks along with you.

We won two auctions for Orange Lake for this summer. I will definately ask to be put in either the newer North or East village. But just in case, other than the musty smell, was there any other minuses to OLCC?

TTFN, Steve

Hi, Cass-

Thanks for sharing the great pics! We'll be staying at the Swan for the first time this Easter and the long wait is made easier by great pics of it, like yours.

Before we do, we'll be buying our first digital camera. Your pictures were some of the clearest/sharpest I've seen. Could you be so kind as to share what kind of camera you used to take these pictures?

Thanks!

Karin

Steve,
Orange Lake was a beautiful resort. I, however, could not stand the smell in our villa. On top of the mustiness, they have garburators in the kitchen sink and it smells so bad I had to plug my nose everytime I went into the kitchen. I was not impressed with the villa we were in. It was old and tattered and just not very nice. My sister stayed there again for her second week and was put into the North Village in a new villa and she LOVED it!

She said it was so much nicer than the old ones, everything was new and clean and bigger! I wouldn't stay there again unless they could guarantee me a new villa. I hope you get a new one!

Just one tip, there is an East entrance into Orange Lake that is open until 10 pm I believe. It leads you into the Publix shopping area. If I were you, I would avoid this road. We were driving down, exploring the resort while videotaping and a golf ball missed our car by about 1 foot! Two minutes later, another golf ball missed our car by about 10 feet. I am sure it would be a huge hassle dealing with a rental car company if the car were to be struck by a ball!

I will post my OL pictures soon! I will post a link on the Orlando hotels and attractions board when I get them uploaded.

Karin,

I used our Canon Digital Elph S400. I love this camera and I am very pleased with the photos. I do sharpen them in Photoshop before I post them but even before that, they still look great!

I am spoiled by digital now! I will never go back :) The only thing that I don't like about the camera is the 3X optical zoom. I really wish it was stronger but I compromised to have a much smaller camera and that was my number one priority after picture quality.

Great report, wonderful pictures! I also read your cruise report on the RCCL. My husband and I cruised on the Carnival Conquest in October, we loved it. All the children had to wear wrist bands with their muster stations on them, so I think it is probably the same on all cruise ships. Sorry you had such lousy dinner companions. We were very lucky and had two great couples at our table, dinner was so much fun every night. You might want to give Carnival a try.:D

WOW!!! Where do I start? Your trip report is just fabulous! You're a great photographer as well!! :D I checked out some of your scrappin' as well while I was there....I too am a scrapper. You do very good work.....Thanks so much for sharing!

Great pictures Cass ! I really like the one at the Swan, where
your husband is posed under the swans mouth . Is he really :magnify: drinking the water from the swan? If not, the angle is perfect! :earseek:

WDW Poly Princess,
tell me about it! they cause a lot of trouble!!! ::yes::

marybet,
I am glad you enjoyed your cruise! We actually did enjoy it but some stuff happened that I guess could have happened on any line. When we cruise next, it will be with DCL, don't think we would like Carnival.

corky805,

Thanks so much! You should post some of your layouts over on the SB board sometime!

7thdwarf/dopey,
Thanks! Yeah, my nephew really got a kick out of that one too a few days ago when he saw it! LOL, no, he was definitely not drinking it :earseek: He just sat down and I told him to move a little and then I positioned the camera in the right spot. You should have seen the people watching us take the picture, they were laughing pretty good at us!

Cass,

Great report and photos, like Corky I checked out your scrapbook section, nice work area. Thank you for your report I feel like I know your family and wondered how the rest of your sister's trip was?

MAGICinMYHEART,

My sister had a great week after we left. Her and Andy hit it off very well and Miles just loved him too!

It went so well that she is going to see him in the UK in 6 days then they plan on getting married in the Spring and as soon as possible (Immigration) he's going to move here!

I am happy for them, especially my sister, she's had a rough life and it's nice to see her being treated properly finally! And Miles announced in Florida that he was now a dad-in-training :) He needs a lot of work :p

Wonderful report, wonderful site! Your clip art and great photos are worth the price of admission. Really enjoyed it, especially silly hats and the WDW bathrooms. I bet I will be seeing a lot of the bathrooms with my 5 kids! LOL Thanks!

Wow! Your sister is a fast worker! Congrats to her on her engagement. I had a blast going through your most recent trip report. You take some amazing pics. I would never have thought to be snapping away as the coaster is going full tilt. Those pics are amazing. I love the unique angles you use. Your husband Rob is a guy after my own heart. I believe in having as much fun as possible too! It seemed like it took Miles a bit to get used to life at Disney, but ended up having loads of fun. I loved the pic at Chef Mickey's with his mickey gloves. The inner ham in me would love to travel around Orlando with you and Rob. You know how to have fun.

All my best
