WDW Transportation To/From WaterParks??

I understand that WDW busses do not run to and from waterparks very often except at opening and closing time, true? We won't have a rental car next trip and need advice on our options from Dolphin. Anybody ever use a cab for this?

It's completely false.

Buses to both water parks run every 15 minutes, just like every other bus. They start running one hour prior to the water park opening, and run until the water park is clear of all guests.

The Animal Kingdom/Blizzard Beach bus will run to Blizzard Beach, then to AK, then back to Blizzard Beach, and then to the resort.

The Downtown Disney/Typhoon Lagoon bus will run to Typhoon Lagoon, then Marketplace until about 11:00am. After that, the routing is Marketplace, Pleasure Island, Typhoon Lagoon, Resort.
