WDW to DCL

Thinking about going down a day early and staying at a value (just 2 of us).

Thought I could take DME from airport, then use DCL transfer from WDW-Port-Airport. But TA says DCL only picks up from selected resorts (values not among them). Not sure I want to hassle with getting from ASMo to CBR on WDW transportation, with all that luggage.

Other ideas? I really don't want to rent a car (don't want to drive), or pay $$$$ for a towncar. DCL is $140 for 2 people; car service is at least $200.00 rountdtrip.

Have you checked on the cruise board? I asked one lady and then posted on our cruise thread and then one more joined then a few more and before we knew it, a bunch of us were in a stretched hummer. It was nice to be able to chat with everybody that we had been talking to before on here on the way down. It was like $35each when all said and down. Trust me if you have that much luggage you have to much. We ended up sending two suitcases home with my brother when we left WDW before the cruise. anyway
You could take a cab from your resort to the cruise resort, store the luggage in bell services and tell them it needs to get on the cruise bus. It should get tagged and on its way. Then explore the resort for the day. I would take AKL if they pickup. I heard they drop off there. I wouldnt get to the term. all that early and enjoy the resort instead, we waited quiet a while and I would have rather enjoyed the poly. We had Breakfast with stitch and then the hummer picked us up there. We rode WDW transportation back to wdw and were lucky enough to get out that morning early enough that we got a van with one other fam. instead of waiting for a bus to fill up. But the airport seemed so close to the port, on the way down. Very close to the space center like blocks away. Mum
