WDW TIVO ad/contest

I guess Disney has decided to start advertising on TIVO. This morning my TIVO had downloaded a 7 minute commercial, "What's New at Walt Disney World".

It looked like a new version of the commercials and tips they show on the resort channels at WDW.

Anyway to enter the contest go to www.disneyworld.com/win. The prize is a Magical Gatherings Vacation for 8.

Actually that was the first and only Tivo "commercial" I've watched and it was quite good. I wanted to show my wife later, but after I watched it...poof it was gone!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression from the rules I read that this contest was for TiVo users only?

Just saw it today

From TiVo Central:
- go to Showcases & TV Guide
- the "commercial"is in there't put in any address

The link off TiVo Central dissapeared but the 'show' is still there.
You can also order the trip planning DVD with TiVo. I asume TiVo knows who we are 'cause I didn't put in a snail mail

Thanks for this thread! I had watched the TiVo commercial over the weekend, but when I typed in the web page, I just got the WDW home page. Now I just clicked on the link from the OP & got in just fine.

I entered last week. After I watched it though, it was still listed on the Tivo Central. If I win, I'll take two DISers with me. I don't think I can find 8 people.

I had noticed this one a couple of weeks ago. I have never seen the commercial show up anywhere on my Tivo. I will have to use that method to see if I can retrieve it.

I did catch them when the Tivo was recording them one morning about 4:00 AM. Tivo usually downloads / records some of its commercial content during these hours.

I will have to look into the contest and enter.
