We are going to a charity auction that will have (4) 1-day WDW park hopper passes up for auction. I see that they are $133/ ticket my question is can I bid on these tickets and then take them down on our April trip and apply the worth of the tickets to purchase of our DVC annual passes?? Thank you!

I think the only way to answer that question is to know that what/where those tickets are from. If they are some special "charity" ticket that disney offers for resale purposes and sold/donated it to the charity, you will only get what that charity payed for it. If it is a "true value" ticket than you should be able to apply it towards the AP.

I know that there was issues with some of the undercover tourists tickets, etc. You only got what UT payed disney for the ticket.

Looking at the web page that lists items up for auction it says that DIsney themselves donated the tickets. There are the 4 one day park hoppers to disney, 4 universal one day tickets and $100 gift card to use at Disney. I just don't know if this one is worth bidding on and the "Ball" is tomorrow night. What do you think?? Thanks!!

Those are probably the tickets that WDW gives to various fundraising activities. They usually have no upgrade value. In my experience, those tickets usually go for much more than their worth (ie. what would a 4-Day Base Ticket, or adding one day to your multi-day base ticket be worth? That's the most value you can get out of the tickets...).

Of course, if you are interested in supporting the charity, and just look at the tickets as a perk, you should go for it!

You can't upgrade to an AP with multiple tickets though, even if the tickets are upgradeable.

It has to be a 1 for 1 exchange, so 1 ticket can be upgraded to 1 AP. You can't take all 4 and apply them to 1 AP.

That's my experience with Disney at charity events too. People who know nothing about Disney way overspend to buy the tickets thinking they are getting a great deal.
