I really doubt that you will get a flight here on Saturday. They are telling all the locals to be off the roads by early Saturday because we will already be feeling storm force winds and torrential downpours. Sanford International Airport has already announced that it will be closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Britsh Airways announced it has cancelled all flights into the Orlando area for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I would image MCO and the other airlines will follow suit shortly.
I don't know what your local news is telling you, but our local news indicates that Frances will be a category 4 storm when it makes landfall. Right now, the most likely path makes it come ashore near Ft. Lauderdale. It will track just to the left of Orlando. Yesterday, they had the eye coming directly over Orlando. This is all subject to change, but they are saying regardless of where it makes landfall all of Florida will feel this one. In Orlando, we should expect 5 to 6 hours of hurricane force winds and a possible 13 to 20 inches of rain. All of the schools are closed starting tomorrow and shelters are opening. Mandatory evacuations start this afternoon for residents on the east coast.
You might want to postpone your trip until the middle of next week. You could be coming into a bad situation. A vacation without electrical power doesn't sound fun to me. If I had a way to leave, I'd be doing it.
