WDW/St.Augustine

We will be going to WDW in Dec. and my brother has his heart set on visiting St. Augustine for 1 day. I see that there are several shuttles that run between WDW and St. Augustine. What I would like to know is how far out to make the reservations and if any of the tours would pick my brother and his wife up at Bay Lake Towers where we will be staying and deliver them back. Also what company would you suggest that they use. Thanks for any information on this.

I don't know much about bus transport to and from the oldest city, but I do know that it is an amazing place to visit, and a great way to spend the day. I found a tour from Viator that picks up at the Crossroads Plaza as well as Disney's All-Star Music Resort. You might want to check that one out!
