WDW Restaurants you WOULDN'T MISS!

Biergarten, Chefs de France, and Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch are ones we never miss. CRT used to be one of our traditions each trip, but not since they've made all the meals character meals. Same with Akershus.

Artist Point. Best mac-n-cheese ever! They even e-mailed us the recipe (just ask your server).

While I've had plenty of good meals (and a few great ones) and have favorite restaurants we frequent, I don't like thinking of any of them as "wouldn't miss." There are plenty of restaurants and if we couldn't get into Le Cellier (a favorite), it would be a good excuse to try Yachtsman.

Her are our not-to-miss choices!!!

Le Cellier
Boma for dinner
Wolfgang Puck Express and Tusker House for counter service :goodvibes

For my family our must do's are:

Ohana: watching Wishes is priceless, food is great
Boma's: we tried to go a second time last visit, but they were booked
Sci-Fi: love the setting, DH loves the movies, food was better than reviews
character meals: we will always try one, so far CRT, LTT, CP, CM were all great
Flametree: A must at AK

One thing I liked about Le Cellier (other than the great food) is that both times I came out feeling really refreshed. I didn't feel rushed, and the tucked-away atmosphere of the restaurant gave a time out from the craziness of the crowds.

Pecos Bills & Cosmic Rays, love the burgers and hotdogs and especially love the toppings bar :thumbsup2

Any place at Epcot Center.

Boma. I ate there once last January with my grandparents and I was probably the best buffet dinner I ever had.

That's about it... the rest are just thrown into rotation. Basically where-ever we can get reservations the easiest.

Our new favorite is LeCellier. That was the first ADR I made. This was our MUST DO on this trip!!!

I am big into trying new places but I WISH I could do these every time:

Le Cellier
Alfredo's (love the alfredo)
Teppanyaki
Crystal Palace
Whispering Canyon

My DH votes for:

Le Cellier
Hoop Dee Doo (go figure, he's such a bad boy type too!)
Whispering Canyon
Teppanyaki
Alfredo's used to be his #1 - but he goes for the meat over it now.

Le Cellier  That was where we ate the night my husband proposed to me! I still get goose bumps when we walk in.

Peco Bills-Cheese sauce and Mushrooms...Enough Said!

Yachtsman-We have a wonderful time, every time! :cloud9:

Ok, now by PB&J sandwich is not looking too good! Oh well.

Oh, I am so happy to see this thread! I just posted in the won't go back thread, and I felt kind of bad about it.

For us, definite must dos are:

California Grill. We eat here every trip, and every single time, we have had great food. The best part is the service. We are never rushed, the food comes out timed perfectly (not too fast), we love to watch Wishes from the observation deck, they have a terrific wine list, etc. This is probably our favorite restaurant.

Jiko. Again, terrific service, great food, and awesome wine list. I love the feel of the room. Walking around AKL at night after a great meal at Jiko feels very magical to me.

Artist Point. DH and I love going here. The first time we stayed on property together it was at the WL, and AP was our first "signature" restaurant. DH still talks about the Northwest sampler plate he enjoyed there on that first visit (rabbit sausage, boar, and venison). We always try to make a point to get over to AP on our vists.

Finally, a napoleon from Patisserie Boulangerie in France. They are too sweet for me now, but we always buy one anyway.

We love O'hanas, Chef Mickeys, Flametree BBQ, Pecos Bills. And I hope to add a few more faves to the list after this years trip.

Chef Mickeys

There are lots of places that we loved but I'll never forgot the sheer MAGIC that we felt at Chef Mickeys - it wasn't the food, just the fabulous atmosphere. Last year we went for dinner but this year we're going for breakfast instead as the food choices will suit us better. I can't wait!

Le Cellier is a must.

We also love to go to San Angel Inn for lunch. It's SOOOOO relaxing.

Just tried Artist Point and O'hana's last time and now they are a must do.

Looking forward to trying Boma on next trip - it sounds great and then I'll probably have to add that to the list.

House of Blues - Elwood sandwiches rule.
Matsunoma Lounge - There's always room for sushi.
Boma - I love all the different flavours.

Does the French Bakery count as a resturaunt? It does for us! And if we can afford it, Artist Point.

Le Cellier for dinner.
1900 Park Fare for breakfast.
Will definitely try Boma next time for dinner.

A must for us is 'Ohana's - just made our ADR for our "spur of the moment" trip in June and am waiting to make the ADR for our trip at Christmas. :woohoo:

We also enjoy the Chef Mickey's character breakfast. Always fun!

Le Cellier
Chef de France
Boma's

I really liked the Sci-fi for atmosphere but food is just so-so
