WDW pulls free dining offer for 2025

I am only going to wade into this discussion enough to say this; run the numbers. Just as in life as in Disney, "free" is never free. Say what you want about how the promotion was introduced or removed, but the fact is it probably didn't save you enough money to get excited or upset about. Case in point is the 3-Day, 3-Park offer. We are going during the time period it is offered but will probably be in the park 4-5 days, haven't decided yet. I opened an Excel file and ran the numbers - we weren't saving enough to forfeit the flexibility of just buying a regular multi-day ticket. It was literally only about a $40 saving for the whole family for the whole trip. There was only one way to find out though, I had to RUN THE NUMBERS. </waders>

And now back to whatever this is you were doing on this thread...
They haven’t run any promos that apply to us for the time period we wanted to go, towards end of 2025. Whats you are saying could be true later on but not now.

the free dining plan is very fact specific though in general.

Lots of us are well aware of the old sayings, you snooze you lose. Book quickly if the deal is important to you. Rooms availability for an offer usually goes down as time passes. It's been that way for a long time.
And Disney should have stated that clearly in its advertisement………….. rooms are still available.

A travel agent would still be your best bet for all the questions, considerations and concerns. They could help you decide if you want to book early with the greatest availability or wait knowing there is a chance the offer may be pulled.

Rooms are still available for other promotions such as AP discount, Stay More Save More, etc. The allocated rooms for the promotion you want are gone.

If you're unwilling to book another promotion, then perhaps Disney is not for you at this time.

They don’t apply to the dates we want to go. Plus could the AP holders have even taken advantage of the free dining plan I wanted for it to make sense?

All you want to do is argue. You never actually want "discussion." We all make mistakes and yours was relying on a newsy blog item posted 2 months ago without checking details. Go forward and learn from that instead of focusing all the negative energy on arguing about what's done. All the arguing in the world is not going to get Disney to re-open the free dining offer.
It's a troll. They are doing the same thing on another thread.

4 Adults in a room, parents with 2 teenagers, got significant savings with "free" dining.

Couples probably saved more with a room discount; particularly if they were eligible for DVC OR AP restaurant discounts.
