Hey everyone!

I'm from northeastern PA, and I'm planning my children's first trip to Disney. I've been there twice: 1996 with my Mom and then 2002 with my senior class in high school. I didn't have to plan either of those trips, so it's my first time planning.

Talk about overwhelming!! I'm trying to get the best deal and make it as simple as possible for my kids. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm open to them! I have no idea where to even start!

First of all, welcome to the madness.

You can find all sorts of information by browsing through the threads. Additionally, if you have any specific questions or concerns, post them. There are plenty of us that are more than willing to help you with whatever inquiries you may have.

Congrats on your coming holiday and I hope it will be truly magical.

Welcome!!! Planning a WDW trip is almost as exciting as going! LOL Not sure when you are planning on going but if you need help deciding that, there are many resources for planning all aspects of your trip. This site is an excellent resource and the one I turn to the most but here are some suggestions that may be useful: allears.net and mousesavers.com. As previous poster said, just start looking at the info already posted and if you have any specific questions, you can do a search for them or post a question.

When I started planning my first, I started looking at resorts and pricing, then park tickets, then dining. Take it one step at a time. It might help to do a search for spreadsheets that many disboard members have so graciously shared with the rest of us to help keep your info straight.

So far I have taken two trips to WDW. One was my honeymoon and last July with our two kids, so if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask and I'll see if I can help! Happy planning!:goodvibes
