By any chance has anyone heard if there is a CM preview the weekend of the 20th? We have friend that are CM and they said they hadn't heard anything. Hoping if it is, star and I can ride with them and check out a good meeting place.

I am looking at the AK park map and there is a new bridge leading from TarzanRocks to the new Expetion area. My initial thought was that we should all meet on the bridge, and you would know it was us because we would be dancing in a single line! But, I am not sure how crowded it would be, so I think we should meet at the entrance to the ride. If anyone has been to AK lately, let me know if there is a specific name of a place we could meet at.

JellyRolls what time do you want to start your birthday party at JellyRolls?

Count us in, we will be there as long as the weather co-operates with us. We are flying in from New Jersey on Friday evening. Our plans are to head over to the Animal Kingdom at opening on Saturday. We will be staying at Beach Club Villas so if Jellyrolls party is Saturday and not Friday I would try to get there also.

I will not know for sure till the Tuesday or Wednesday before the meet if I can get that day off work. I did request the day off and there is a good chance I'll get it. Even if I don't get it off I'll still try to be there till about noon, so I could make the meet.

The bridge may be a good place to meet, as the area is big enough and there should not be that much congestion that far from the ride's entrance.

If I'm there I will have my baseball cap with "Bob" embroidered on the brim. I also will have a VMK tour badge on with my Dis (real) name Bob Richmond and my VMK name CL_OutOfMyMind.

Our current plan is for DH (WJPilot), and toddler (JetBoyJay), and me (Canadian) to be there for rope drop. One of us will run for fast passes, hopefully getting two that are before noon. We will meet up with everyone at 10, and then ride/switch/babysit in coordination with others.

We will need to leave around lunch time though, as our current plan is to turn the inlaws loose on Epcot for the morning, so we'll have to go track them down and make sure they haven't got into too much trouble.

The DW and I will be there for the entire week from 1/21 through 1/29. Hopefully I will get a chance that Saturday to head on over. I just hope they don't limit us to one ride.

So, I figure we should just touch base about an "official" meeting spot again. I read that there are "check points" to get into the area where everest is. Do we know for certain that we will be able to get to the bridge that flying pegasus is talking about?

Maybe it would make more sense to meet at the Flame Tree or something like that, and head over as a group.
