Thank you! I always seem to catch the last 10 minutes of these shows instead of the whole thing!

There are a couple of DISers featured on the fans guide show. It was taped a year ago I believe. Dont remember their tag names but I do remember that one of them is in the segment where there are 3 friends. The other is a lady with her family. If you do a search for something about the fans guide you will probably run across it. It seems like I remember the lady with her family responding about the subject on the Disney Vacation Club Forum. Have fun watching.

Edit: Found one link to a old post. TigrLuvsPooh aka Erika is the lady with her family. It makes it even more fun to watch knowing a DISer is on there. GO Erika!!

Thanks for the heads up! Off to set the TiVo.....

I just set up my TIVO. Thank you for the info. I always miss out on the first half or more of these programs.

I just saw the Vacation Challenge: Disney today and it was a riot! I think those TAs would do well to read the DIS Boards before giving out advice.

The first guy, who planned an "Adventure Disney" package, described TT as a ride with car that you get to drive!! :rotfl: He kept recommending all the Mountains and thrill rides to this family whose mom and kids suffer from motion sickness. :sad2: I'm glad it showed a couple of them aborting Mission:Space. Wouldn't have been pretty to see them sick. :crazy2:

The other two TAs weren't so bad. It was weird how they planned these theme packages that indicated the family couldn't possibly do anything *but" adventure, animals, or classic Disney.

Please forgive my feeling of smug superiority...
:disrocks:

I was personally surprised, Jen, at the option they picked!!! Going to Disney with no visit to the MK? Blasphemy!!!

i want to know how they got it so cheap! I can't seem to do it that cheap myself. We are driving down and it's still 2500 for two people. That is with the meal plan and staying for 6 nights. I want to know where I can get it cheapier!

umaangel00, I could be wrong, but I think they were only going for 2 days and the price was for air, park tickets (one or two days?) and resort stay (2 rooms). I don't think it included food or spending money. I don't think I could go for just two days. But then again, a week is too short for me. :teeth:

umaangel00 where are you staying and where are you coming from? We have four, are staying for 7 nights, (dining free) at the Pop Century and even with our airfare, we aren't spending that much.

We paid $1650 or so for the room and tickets (and free dining), then another $500 for airfare.
