WDW on Sat., 5/27 - Am I Insane?

On my way to a Vero Beach (hopefully) vacation Memorial Day weekend, I was thinking about spending Saturday, 5/27 somewhere at WDW. I was thinking about AK (and ride Everest), or perhaps TL.

But...
AK has morning EMH that day - I'm betting it will be very crowded.
TL has both morning and evening EMH - crowded too?

Can anyone with Memorial Day weekend experience help me out?
