Wdw offers available to Australians

We all grumble occasionally about the wdw ticket offers that are available to visitors from the UK and how Disney seems to think that those of us from Australia (or NZ) only visit DLR. How about a thread with info as to which options are available to people from this part if the world and which are not.

E.g. Does Undercover Tourist ship to Australia?

Also, what does require an international phone call (they may be easier with calling cards etc these days but the time difference can be annoying sometimes, especially if they say they will call you back) and what can be done online?

Start helping with the info you have please. I am sure there is an abundance of information and experience that will help us all.

Oooo thanks. Might still be good to have updated advice but there are some useful tips in this old thread. I just get sick of reading the other threads with references to sooooo many options that aren't available to Aussies (disney visa, target red cards etc).

I totally agree! The Disney Visa one irritates me the most for some reason. And the Costco deals :rotfl: People just assume that everyone has access to these types of things!

I don't really have anything to add, having not been to WDW.

I would like to add though, for any complete newbies who might stumble onto this thread, that there are 10 day park hoppers available to Aussies for DLR for not much more than the price of a 5 day.

Also, if you're not fussy on accommodation, you can use either the bidding or express deals on Priceline or Hotwire to get hotels for less than half price. Google priceline forum for more hints and tips on getting the most out of these websites.

Yeah I really like Priceline and Hotwire. I've had better luck with one over the other but can't remember which :rotfl:

More and more Disney stuff is available to book online. The first couple of trips I took I had to call to make all our dining reservations, now they can just be done online, which is so handy!

Priceline and Hotwire are good. Priceline only guarantees 2 in room. Hotwire allows you to specify the number of people but only go up to 4! Argghh!!!

If using either, be sure to also use www.betterbidding.com as well to help you identify the hotels, know roughly how much to bid etc
