WDW Not So Mainstream Events

As frequent visitors to WDW, my husband and I (child free!), are always looking to add to our list of things to do on our next trip that we have never done before. Here is what I have so far...of course we have done the parks and many other big happenings such as MNSSHP, MVMCP, Hoop De Doo Revue, Wishes Cruise, Candlelight Processional, Cirque du Soleil.

Any thoughts on this one??

Segway Tour
Behind the Magic/Keys to the Kingdom or similar tour
Victoria and Alberts for dinner

Congratulations, you have quite an impressive roster going.

I highly recommend the backstage tours, especially Keys to the Kingdom, Backstage Magic, and Undiscovered Future World.

Though I've never taken it, the Segway tour does seem to be among the most popular.

Might I also suggest Dining with an Imagineer?

Luau at the Poly - it's nice! In fact Dh and I are talking about doing this for our Annaversary.

We didn't like the luau enough to do it again. Doing the KTTK tour this summer (DD is finally 16) and Sedgeway Tour (DS has been a fan of these since seeing them at innoventions years ago). There are many other tours: everything from gourmet cooking to horticulture to helping feed the animals at AK. Birnbaums has a guide out specifically for the adult travelers that should be very helpful to you.

Some things to consider, to broaden WDW's appeal as you've been going back so often:

- Fishing
- Bicycle rentals at Ft. Wilderness
- Horseback riding at Ft. Wilderness
- Miniature golf
- Spa treatments

If your trip is in December, how about the Yuletifde Fantasy Tour? My DH & I are doing that one and the Segway Around the World tour (both for the first time) on our next trip. While I love traveling with children, it's even more fun when it's just the two of us!

My DH & I did the Segway in Sept and loved it. It was really fun.

This December, we're trying the Backstage Safari. I'd love to do the Yuletide Fantasy, but besides the safari, I also booked a Backstage Family Magic tour for my DD8 and I so I think I'll wait til next year for that one.

I'm going to book Epcot's Dive Quest as a surprise birthday gift for my DH in Feb.

Another fun activity for us this past Sept was mini golf at Winter Summerland. Next time, we're doing Fantasia Gardens.

Yuletide Fantasy Tour is nice, we did it last year. I would also say, Electrical Water Pageant and the Free Movie/cookout with Chip and Dale at WL just because these are two things I want to do very much!

My DH did the Segway Tour this year, and he said it was awesome! I'd go for that.....

Here's another vote for the segway tour. DH and I did this last June, and I have it booked with my mother in 1 1/2 weeks!

Yuletide Fantasy Tour? What is such a thing and when does it run? Anyone been to the new spa at Swan or maybe it's the Dolphin? Love the spa at Saratoga Springs and will definitely do others. I want to do bike rentals next time too.

Segway is now #1 on the list. Anyone have opinions about Vict and Al's?
