Hello, all DCL experts--
I have a few questions that I hope you can help me with-- I am trying to convince DH that a cruise would be a nice change (we are DVC members), but I need all the info (ammo?) I can get in order to convince him.
Question #1: How do I justify the cost over Royal Caribbean, which we have sailed once in the past and loved?
#2 How do I get on the Magical Rates list for April 2006? Is there such a thing? Is there a rate watch place like the code watch on the resort/budget boards, or do I just make mousesavers my home page
?
#3 Since we are limited to sailing during a school vacation week (which is Easter to boot, next year) what would be a good deal for the 4 night cruise? I was quoted 4200. Any tips on lowering that rate?
#4 Why can't I book a handicapped accessible category 11 room that sleeps 4 (DS uses a wheelchair)? I was told I would have to get 2 adjoining, not connecting rooms in cat 11-- and the kids are too young for that. Either that, or Cat 5-- which is REALLY beyond my budget. Seems not quite right to me...
Anyway, any help would be appreciated-- I really want to go DCL, but I have a hold on a RCCL cruise for 7 nights for 3000-- hard to justify a shorter trip for so much more money.
