Where was I? Oh yeah, I was talking about how I wasn't feeling well at MK. The next day, we decided to go to Ecpot. I woke up thinking I was feeling better, although it hadn't completely gone away. The only thing I can think of was that it was caused by the heat although that's never been a problem before. Anyway, we ate at the Electric Umbrella, and I could barely eat half of the chicken sandwich I ordered. The first half of the day was rather depressing.

We did a handful of future world attractions. I wasn't feeling up to Body Wars or anything like that, but we did some other things like Cranium Command which Chris had never seen, and Universe of Energy. I hadn't seen that one in a few years. I forgot how funny that is! especially the pre-show. I love the part where Ellen says that a strange man she doesn't even know says that there is no eating, drinking, or flash phototography allowed in her dream!

My favorite part of Epcot is the World Showcase, and we circled it many times. I love to visit the dolls in Germany. There was a doll dressed as Mulan that looked a lot like the one I fell in love with there last year only with long hair. I started feeling worse again in that store and sat down. For the second time, a CM asked if something was wrong and then offered me a cup of water.

Later, I was in the mood for an ice cream, so we each had a chocolate ice cream cone in France. I'm impossible with desserts- ended up with a sploch of chocolate on the center of my shirt right before we went to get a picture with Aladdin. Oy!

Chris wanted to watch Masquerade in Italy, and we got there right in time for it. I like to watch the people in masks and costumes. They seem so mysterious. hehe. Anyway, one particular masquerade character, a woman in a bright purple gown seemed to be staring at Chris. Then I saw her wink at him and flirt! It drove Chris nuts because this was obviously someone who knew him, but he had no idea who!

We got to find out later. As we sat in Germany shortly before Tapastry of Dreams started, a girl came out from backstage and started chatting with Chris. Turned out to be a friend of his who had been in Marquerade. She's also a face character which is how he knew her.

I had been planning to meet up with Dan Murphy at Epcot that evening for ToD and Illuminations, but he didn't give me specific enough instructions on where to meet so we were never able to find him. We circled the world showcase twice! We finally settled in Germany for the 2nd showing of the parade. We ended up with absolutely perfect seats- the benches on the left side of the Germany pavillion when you're facing it! A CM came over and asked us if we'd mind staying there for the whole parade because they weren't going to rope off the area. We said sure. First of all, there was absolutely no one in front, no obstructions at all. Then we got to see both parades that happen simutaniously- one as it left, the other as it arrived. And the best part- we were in perfect sightline for all the performers! A whole buncha them interacted with us. One even tricked me into getting up and then took my seat! lol.

I actually like ToD as much as Tapastry of Nations. It's almost exactly the same, but it has a new song blended with the old one, and a new beginning float with cute characters. I really liked the new part, except that it felt as if it belonged in a completely different parade. lol.
Chris introduced me to a yummy treat they sell in the store in Japan. It's called Pocky. They're basically candy coated cookie sticks. We had the coconut chocolate kind. mmmmm.

We finished the day with dinner in Moracco- a yummy mediteranian pizza that I was able to finish, also I still wasn't feeling like myself. Then we returned to the resort.
