wdw in march?

i'm planning a trip for 2006 i'm not sure if i should go in march or april
i would like to go the first week in march because my kids b-days are then but i'm worryed about the weather. i went in feb. 2004 and it was kind of rainy and a little cool. i'm not sure if thats the norm or not. anyone else go in early march?

We went in the second week of March for our honeymoon and I thought the weather was great, it rained, but always briefly. Not too hot and not too cold and I don't remember the crowds being all that bad.

We went the last few days of Feb, and the first few days of March and LOVED it.

It did rain one or two days, but it didn't slow us down. One of the rainy days we devoted to Downtown Disney, and just switched our schedule a little bit. The other rainy day we chose to do MK deliberately because we knew the rain would keep people away, and we were right. NO LINES for most of the day. It did get a little chilly at night, so bring your hand warmers, but the weather trade off was worth it for no crowds/ no lines.

Be careful of Spring break schedules...although I have never been in the middle to end of March I hear the Spring break crowds can be overwhelming.

thanks for your help i think i will go in march i also have to work around MCAS tests for my kids at school so early march is a good time for me
