Hi,

We are planning our next to WDW from Australia. We were going to come in Jan but think it's going to hard getting flights (free using frequent flyers) since it's summer holidays. So we are now thinking about April, right after Easter in 2005. What should the crowds be like? We've been in Nov/Dec and Feb and like it less crowded. The other option is bringing the trip forward to early Nov this year. We will be having 2 weeks at WDW and doing the 7 night cruise on the magic.

I can't speak to November, but we were there last year for the last week of April/1st week of May. Easter was late last year, so it turned out that we were there the week after the Easter rush. The crowds were very manageable. The longest we waited for a ride was 45 minutes for Peter Pan. Our ride waits were on average about 15 minutes. We used Fast Pass a lot which really helped. I thought it was a fantastic time to go.

Hope this helps you.

My wife and I usually go two weeks or a bit more after Easter. It's a great time to go: crowds aren't too bad, the weather is great, and it's not the most expensive time for the resorts. I'd highly recommend that time of year.
