WDW Hotels in world's top 500!

I just received my copy of Travel & Leisure magazine. They have an article re their list of the top 500 hotels in the world. Several WDW hotels are included (GF, WL, Y & B Club). Here's a link if you are interested.

Well it's good to see they didn't have to go down to "Top 5000" to get our favorites included!

Included but not yet mentioned: Disney's Vero Beach Resort, Boardwalk Inn.

Observations:
-- Yacht Club listed but not its twin sister Beach Club. Maybe they see them as part of the same hotel?
-- Wilderness Lodge listed but not its close cousin Animal Kingdom Lodge.
-- Vero Beach is technically a timeshare, so ought to be excluded. Perhaps because it operates more like a hotel than most timeshares?
-- If you click on the hotel names, you get more info, including staff-to-guest ratio. Except that Disney would not release staff-to-guest ratio; I guess we can only assume the worst! After clicking on quite a few others I did not find any except Disney that withheld that information.

Disneyland's Grand Californian was in there also. On that one, the staff to guest ratio was listed as .66 to one I believe. Maybe it's just a WDW thing. BTW, the Grand Californian is on The Travel Channel today. DW & I had breakfast there back in March. WOW!! Very nice!!!
